Young D. Yoon's Online Review Report Card

I was in the Hunterdon medical center two days ago and was assigned dr. Yoon in the er. Never have I been treated in such a disrespectful and condescending manner as this doctor. I was extremely surprised to encounter this at HMC. I have been a patient their many times and he refused to examine my past history. It seemed he had diagnosed me before even seeing me and he actually chuckled at some of my answers as the did not align with his preconceived notions. He accused and tried to make me feel like some type of drug addict (I don’t even drink alcohol). When I mentioned his bedside manners to the nurses. They all rolled their eyes but said he’s a brilliant doctor and it’s hard to get both in one doctor. I disagree because I’ve experienced just that at your fine hospital. I was lucky as a kind and brilliant doctor came to my rescue. Dr. Yoon I don’t know when you traded in your compassion for your power trip but maybe hospital security would be a better use of everyone’s tIme.

Was in HMC emergency room after falling on my wrist falling backwards while reffing a field hockey game. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable, knew my wrist was broken even without xray. Gave me understandable advice and directions and answered all my ????? :)

Dr. Yoon was extremely personable and put things in terms that I could understand. He put all my worries at ease and he was always right there when we needed him. I had him as an ED doctor and it was by far the best experience that I had a HMC. He got my results from tests quickly and always stopped in when he had a spare second to see if I needed anything. Dr. Yoon talked about his children with me and was a very down to earth guy. For those of you wondering...no he doesn't have an accent.

Dr. Yoon saw me in the emergency room at Hunterdon Medical Center....I was dizzy, nauseous and vomiting. He was extremely caring and very attentive. He made me feel at ease and I knew I was in excellent hands and I can't say enough good things about this doctor.

Dr. Young Yoon was extremely personable and had a terrific bedside manner. We went to the ER at Hunterdon Medical Center at midnight because my husband had twisted his ankle and injured his foot. Dr. Yoon was attentive, knowledgeable, and very helpful in describing what the medical issues were. He was reassuring and provided great guidance. We really enjoyed meeting Dr. Yoon and felt very confident in his abilities and expertise.

Excellent, caring, sympathetic, soft spoken but authoritative and knowledgeable, straight-forward, honest. An asset to HMC. Thank you Dr. Yoon!!!

Dr. Young Yoon is an Emergency Room physician at Hunterdon Medical Center so there really is no availability to m ake a private appointment. That said, Dr. Yoon is exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. When our daughter was admitted for abdominal pain, he took the time necessary to diagnose the problem. What I liked was he would re-word questions to be sure our daughter gave as much information as possible. I do wish Dr. Yoon had a privatae office as I find him a most outstanding physician among his peers. Here is one doctor that is genuinely concerned about a patients health and not someone that just wants to get in and get out.
