During the entire knee replacement experience from first appointment through follow-ups, Dr. Patel was informative, focused on my needs & concerns and willing to answer any and all questions. Surgery was very successful (healed much quicker and with less pain than when my other knee was done by Tri-County). Support staff were also caring and helpful. Highly recommend.

The operation was fast and flawless

Within a 10 month period Dr Patel has performed two anterior hip replacements for me and I only have the highest praise for him. He is extremely personable and has an excellent bedside manner. I spent one night in the hospital for each surgery and then did PT at home and as an out patient. I rarely even had to take anything for pain. I am an active 70 year old grandma who prior to the surgeries was swimming daily and riding up to 40 miles on my bike. I look forward to resuming all my activities and hate to think what my life would be like if I didn’t have access to these surgeries. Rather than being out on my bike I would certainly be relying on a cane or walker. I recommend Dr Patel and his staff highly. You will be in good hands.

Dr. Patel performed my total knee replacement surgery January 2023. Less than four months later I am at full range of motion and playing on the floor again with my grandchildren! Dr. Patel was very helpful in explaining the process and helping me make this decision.

I underwent a partial knee replacement at the end of October. Everything went very smoothly. I was playing tennis (rather well) by mid February. Dr. Patel took the time to explain very clearly the procedure and recovery process to me. No surprises. I was so happy to have a partial knee replacement because I still have MY knee. I am a registered nurse with 20 years experience in the field. I went in for Tony replacement on January 11 223. I came out with the ankle sprain due to the rough handling of the staff at Morristown Medical Center. It gets worse because of the ankle sprain and the total knee replacement Eifel badly and now have a hip fracture don’t go to Morristown Memorial Hospital. They stink, and Dr. Patel Covered it up go elsewhere

Dr. Patel performed my total knee replacement on my left knee 12/1/22. The process was stressful, but he and staff had a way of helping me stay calm through pre and post surgery. Dr. Patel answered my emails quickly after surgery when I had a question or concern, his bed side manner is great. As a cyclist, I wanted to get back on my bike as quick as possible. 17 days after surgery I was able to pedal my bike on a stationary trainer. Day 20 I could do light training on my indoor bike. At 6 weeks and 2 days after surgery I did a 27 mile gravel bike ride on dirt roads, and have been riding outside since, when weather allows. I am now at 13 weeks and I have been riding almost daily and I am improving my fitness and strength. Most important, I no longer have the knee pain that I previously had while riding. Just to be clear, I was also very diligent in doing physical therapy daily for the first 3-4 weeks, and then 2-3 days a week with my therapist; the other days were spent on the bike. PT is a must in the road to recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his staff, and I will have him replace my other knee in October of 23'.

Dr. Patel performed my total hip replacement in Dec/2022. I was walking that same day and discharged the following day. I had my other hip replaced in 2018 by another doctor, however my recovery with Dr. Patel was much quicker. I returned to work ahead of schedule as my 2 week follow up was perfect. I just had my 3 month follow up and I feel great and my X-rays are all good. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and his amazing staff if you are considering a hip replacement.
