Easy to discuss AFIB and he explains everything well. Is accurate and does not jump to conclusions. Spends whatever time necessary to insure patient understands next steps.

Dr Kothavale once rebuked me for insisting that the three parameters for my aortic valve disease were getting close to the point where surgery was indicated. He said: "I am not treating symptoms; I am treating you as a human being." That is typical of this thorough, quiet,highly competent physician. He is neither an alarmist, nor a gambler. You couldn't ask for a better cardiologist.

Nice guy but no specialist. Impossible to talk to him as nurses screen phone calls and would not allow you to reach him directly. Disappointing experience.
