I met Dr Freeman while in the hospital being treated for for Covid. There was an issue with the hospitalist and he listened to my side and understood the importance of getting my WBC up due to multiple infections this year. He just met me but I felt like this doctor truly cares about his patients, even ones he just met. I highly recommend Dr Freeman because he is so open to feedback from his patients, he is very empathetic and down to earth! He noticed I was wearing a football jersey and we talked about my team, which is also his team and laughed. He walked into a frustrating situation and when he left I was so relieved and relaxed that I knew this doctor does care about me! Thank you Dr B Freeman!! I have much respect for you !

I love Dr. Freeman! Too many doctors treat senior patients as if they are no longer valuable. Not so with Dr. Freeman! He is bright and caring. I feel that I am in good hands.

Dr Freeman is a brilliant Hemotologist. He has been right in every assessment of my symptoms and has worked out a “ stay well” plan to deal with my erratic hematological needs. The office is unique and ready to meet the needs of the patients with on spot infusions, vaccines and shots. Competent, caring Blood Docs who are willing to take on my complicated treatment are not easy to find but I’m glad to finally have found Dr Freeman.

My father was a world traveler until he was diagnosed with leukemia. He landed in the hospital and Dr. Freeman was the doctor assigned to his care. I found Dr. Freeman lacking in bedside manner. He didn't listen, was dismissive and seemed to only answer the questions he wanted to answer. I had to find out about services offered at his practice from doctors outside of his practice. He barely made eye contact, just typed on his keyboard while he asked rote questions. In addition, Dr. Freeman asked my father to sign a DNR repeatedly, even though he already had an advanced directive. Every time we met with him my father was depressed. We didn't feel like we could trust Dr. Freeman. He may be a fine technician, but he has terrible people skills. We eventually changed practices.
