Dr. Bamboat performed an esophagectomy on my husband for very early stage esophageal cancer last year. No one wants to have major surgery (especially THIS major) but we were very confident in his excellent surgical skills and knew we were in good hands. Everyone in his office is caring and supportive, and we can't say enough about how thankful we are that we were referred to this awesome surgeon. He was with us every step on our journey. He is truly a lifesaver and gave us the cure we so desperately hoped for.

You will not find a more brilliant and skilled surgeon, or a kinder, more compassionate person than Dr. Zubin Bamboat. He saved my life when he performed a complex surgery on me for pancreatic cancer, removing part of my pancreas, my entire spleen and all the surrounding lymph nodes. Dr. Bamboat made sure my husband and I fully understood the operation, even going so far as to draw diagrams for us. His kindness, empathy and honesty reassured both of us that I would be in good hands, and I was! His entire staff and team are equally as wonderful, and made a terribly frightening situation much easier to deal with. Today, I am cancer free. Dr. Bamboat gave me back my life, and for that I am eternally grateful.

I highly recommend Dr Sam Kim Dr zubin Bamboat and Dr Schmid I was seen by Dr Kim on 7/6 who performed a painless removal of the mole and surrounding tissue for biopsy which indicated Melanoma arranged for me to be seen by an oncologist Dr Bamboat who scheduled me for surgery and another biopsy to ensure all the cancer had been removed and a plastic surgeon to perform a skin grafts to repair the affected toe All this took place in 3 weeks I have been followed up all 3 physicians to ensure that my wounds are healing and I received a clean biopsy report Without hesitation I recommend these physicians and Summit Medical group for excellent care

Hello everyone, I wanted to drop a review on this amazing Doctor, to make the story short I was diagnose with colon cancer I had 2 tumors on my left intestine the first oncologist Doctor said that he would have to remove all my intestine and leave a small piece to attached to the rectum! Now let me tell you I had my doubts, my fiance and I spoke we needed a second opinión this is when my sister in law recomended Dr.Bamboat let me tell you this, This was the best decision we made. Dr Bamboat is patient he listens to your concern he answers any questions you have he is very theral you won't leave his office with any doubts, he made me and my fiance feel very comfortable, And for everyone to know I didn't need all my intestine removed only a small portion of my left side, Dr Bamboat is an amazing surgeon. Always get second opinión I highly recomend Dr.Bamboat. as Dr.Bamboat Patient I am 100% satisfied.

Dr. Bamboat is an incredible surgeon. He also has a kind and caring bedside manner. His entire team does everything possible to help patients navigate the process of appointments and referrals. My husband was referred to Dr. Bamboat for surgery following the discovery of a comparatively rare type of skin cancer on his chest. Dr. Bamboat has impressive credentials but more importantly, spends the time with his patients to ensure that they understand their options and his recommended treatment plans. He is thorough, reassuring and his surgical skills are, needless to say, superlative. The incision healed well, with minimal scarring, which is even more notable considering the fact that my husband is immuno-suppressed. We sought and received second opinions from well renowned oncology centers but felt more confident in the care received from Dr. Bamboat and Summit Medical Surgery. We cannot possibly recommend Dr. Bamboat any more highly.

In April, 2021, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, bile duct cancer, the medical term being Hilar cholangiocarcinoma. I was immediately referred to Dr. Zubin Bamboat, a specialist in complex oncology surgery. His credentials are excellent and upon meeting with him I understood why. His bedside manner was calming and caring. He explained the complexity of this cancer and what my options were for survival. He took the time to answer all the questions my husband and I had. I opted for, if possible, surgery – a liver and bile duct resection. Dr. Bamboat consulted with several other specialists to see if this was possible and got back to me within days to confirm that the surgery was "do-able." My husband and I were given guidelines for what to expect before, during and after surgery. He and his staff were excellent at keeping my husband informed during the 5-hour surgery. He saved my life -- if it wasn't for his expertise I know my outcome would have been very different.

I was diagnosed with ampullary cancer and was referred to Dr. Bamboat. I met with him and he described the surgery to me. He would do the Whipple procedure, major surgery. He answered all my questions. I had the surgery and spent 7 days in the hospital. Dr. Bamboat or a member of his team were there daily. It has been 12 days since my surgery. I am waiting for the results, but I am feeling remarkably well, especially when you realize the depth of the surgery. I feel very confident with Dr. Bamboat and certainly recommend him and his team.
