She is a great doctor. I went to the hospital for an emergency. They called her and she had all my information right away. She was able to order more tests and follow up.

It was most disgusting experience I've ever had. My Daughter had some bleeding issue so we walked in, there was no patients and she wouldn't diagnose her the reason was our insurance company might decline the claim because she it too young even though our insurance is in network. We told her if the insurance company declines then we will pay but she said no. It was a bit emergency situation and she did admit that urgent care/pediatric wouldn't diagnose her since it is an issue which needs to be treated in obgyn. I don't want to call her a doctor at all. Highly Recommend! Dr Kang has been my doctor for almost 20 years. Everyone in the office is wonderful and caring! They delivered two of my babies.

This dr does not know what she is doing. I went there for heavy bleeding. A quick exam less than 5 min, she said I have no problem. I had call and left several msgs for my blood test results. She never called me back for result. I changed my obgyn bc of persistent problem. they ordered sonogram right away and found polyp that was causing bleeding. 별 한개도 주기가 아깝네요. 글이 좀 깁니다. 읽으실 분들은 참고하고 읽어주시기 바랍니다. 2주동안 출혈이 있어서 걱정되어 방문했습니다. 마침 임신 가능성도 있었던 지라 산부인과 가서 진단 받고싶었습니다. 그런데 보자마자 환자에게 물어야하는 기본적인 질문(언제가 마지막 생리일이냐/관계일이냐/출혈은 얼마나 됐냐 등등)은 묻지도 않고, 심지어 혈압체크도 하지 않은 채 대뜸 "암일 수 있으니 자궁내막암 조직 검사를 해야겠다며 "그 검사는 보험 커버 안되는데 하겠냐" 라고 묻더군요. 필요한 검사라면 보험커버 상관 없이 당연히 할 겁니다. 그런데 걱정이 되어 병원을 찾은 사람에게 보험 커버 여부부터 이야기하다니. 어이없었지만 걱정되는 마음에 일단 하겠다고 하고, 혹시 임신이면 해도 괜찮은 검사냐 물었더니 의사 왈 "임신이면 유산이 될 수도 있지만 유산이 암보단 낫지 않냐. 세상엔 많은 일이 있다" 며 걱정하는 제가 더 이상하다는 듯 대수롭지 않게 게다가 오히려 공격적으로 이야기 하더군요. 그게 임신 가능성이 있는/출혈이 걱정되어 온 사람에게 할 이야기인가요?? 어쨋든 너무 어이없고 화가 났지만 암일 수도있다는 말을 들은 이상 암인지 여부가 더 걱정되었기에 그럼 일단 임신테스트 먼저 해보면 어떻겠냐고 물었더니 원하면 그러라길래 소변검사로 테스트를 하였고, 임신이 아니라고 나와 일단 조직검사를 진행했습니다. 자궁 조직을 떼는 검사라 너무 아프고 피도 많이 나는 검사였습니다. 급한 마음에 조직검사를 하긴 했지만 임신 여부를 확인하기엔 너무 이른 시기인 것도 같아 혹시 모르니 처방약은 임산부도 먹어도 되는 약으로 부탁했고, 약 찾으러 바로 약국 갔습니다. 그런데 약사가 하는 말이 "이거 임산부가 먹으면 안되는거 알지?" 라더군요. 가뜩이나 병원에서 의사의 태도도 어이없었는데 약 처방까지 엉망으로 하다니. 너무 화가 났습니다. 의사에게 전화하여 어찌된것인지 물으니 상관 없다며 원하지 않으면 먹지 말라기에 -_- 일단 처방받은 약은 두개 중 하나만 먹었습니다. 2주 뒤 검사결과가 나올때가 됐는데 연락이 없어 연락 했습니다. 그랬더니 다 괜찮다더군요. 말투가 또 잔뜩 귀찮은 말투길래 제가 그날 두가지 검사를 했는데 두가지 검사 다 나온 것이냐, 어떤 검사가 괜찮다는거냐 물었더니 말하는 검사가 제가 받지 않은 검사였습니다. 어이없어서 그거 제가 받은 검사 아닌데요, 라고 하니 그제서야 기록을 찾았는지 다시 확인하더니 제 검사결과는 아직 한가지밖에 결과가 안 나왔다더군요. 만약 제가 다시 묻지 않았더라면 그냥 모르고 지나갔을 일 입니다. 이때 역시 미안하다는 말 한마디 없이 오히려 짜증을 내더군요. 환자가 무슨 검사를 했는지조차 모르고 다 괜찮다고 하는 의사 말에 이 의사는 믿을 곳이 못 된다는 생각에 다른 의사를 찾아야겠다 마음 먹었고, 그래서 2nd opinion을 위해 medical records 요청하여 받으러 갔습니다. 그런덴 이번엔 떡하니 다른 환자 medical record를 주더군요. 제가 그 자리에서 서류 열어서 이름을 확인 했으니 다행이지 아니었으면 환자 기록 유출입니다. 어찌되었건 의사의 소견, 심지어 그곳에서 받은 검사조차 너무 찜찜했기에 다른 산부인과 찾아갔습니다. 그런데 알고보니 자궁내막암 조직검사는 특별히 위험해보이지 않는 상황이라면 40살 이전엔 권하지 않는 검사라더군요. 필요했다면 하는게 맞았지만, 그날 환자에게 기본적인 질문조차 하지 않은 상태에서 진행할만한 검사는 아니었다 라고 봅니다. 의사가 환자를 대하는 태도에도 정말 문제가 있고요. 환자에 대한 배려며 기본사항조차 이행하지 않는 의사에, 간호사, 과연 각자의 자격이 있는지 의심스럽네요. 다시는 안 갈것이고, 절대 추천하지도 않습니다! I was literally back in my car 15 minutes after my appointment began...this time included filling out paperwork, talking to the nurse before my appointment, getting a pap smear, and seeing the doctor. Absolutely insane how quick you are rushed in and out of this office, and I was the only one there, it’s not like they were busy. I had so many questions and concerns I wanted to bring up with the doctor including pregnancy and abnormal test results I had received (very serious concerns on my end), but truly could not even try to begin to get a word in. Dr.Kang lacks the empathy to help a woman through a tough pregnancy. It was really hard to ask her any questions because she was always so dismissive and busy with other things, even during my appointments. She was also rude and cold on several occasions. I would not recommend her. There are better doctors in the area.

I never review anything, but this time it was important to let others know about my amazing experience with Dr Kang. I found her online and scheduled an appointment to see what I was looking for in my obgyn. She listened patiently and offered to provide her best advice accordingly to my requests and she did. Every visit she answered all my questions and at the time of birth it was as perfect as it could of been, respecting every single aspect I had in my birth plan witch was very detailed since I wanted an all natural birth. I had a great experience and definitely would continue going to her for my gyno checks and perhas for my second child😅. I highly recommend her. 여기 최악 맞습니다. 그전 리뷰 올리신 분들 말씀 모두 공감 합니다. 환자가 필요한 상담이나 조치는 전혀 안해 줍니다. 어떤 목적으로 환자를 치료 상담 하는건지 알수가 없을 정도 이구요. 케터린강 여자 의사 역시 혼자 급합니다. 환자와의 상담 전혀 없구요. 병원을 나서자 마자 상당히 황당할 정도 입니다. 내가 이병원에서 뭘 하고 온건가 싶습니다. 병원 청결 정말 최하 이구요. 필요한 상담과 조치 를 제대로 받지 못해 결국 응급실 과 수술로 이어 졌습니다. 정말 화납니다. I was hesitant on going here when I first read the reviews, but I’m glad I did. Dr. Kang is a very good doctor, easy to talk to (answers all my questions) and to the point which I like. There’s never been a long wait the times I’ve been there and the receptionist is very nice as well.
