I have been his patient for over 40 years! No need to say much more. Saved me from having unnecessary surgery at least three times through proper diagnosis. His general medical knowledge is acknowledged by the numerous awards he has received.

So I was not able to make an appt with them for numerous reasons. 1. Zoc docs information is incorrect for availability. When the receptionist by the way is super nasty and lacks empathy. Said the dates are incorrect and they’re not accepting any new patients for the next 45 days appx. She couldn’t provide any other recommendations and didn’t care.

I made an appointment on ZocDoc, even received a confirmation email for my husband who was having pain. Tried to call several times to confirm but no one ever picked up the phone. When my husband walked in they said they had no record of the appointment and nobody makes appointments on line. And I’m supposed to know this how?? The very rude receptionist just told me that they don’t check zocdoc every second. I made the appointment at 11:30 for 2:15. My husband walked in at 1:50 to get paperwork and I received an email right after saying they cancelled the appointment. How could the appointment be cancelled if it was never made?? Hmmmm? No apology at all just treated us very poorly and we’d driven almost an hour to get there. Their loss. We have excellent Cadillac insurance that pays very well.

Doctor Zalkowitz is one of a kind, wish all doctor’s practiced medicine the way he does! Treats you with respect, courtesy and explains medicine in a straight forward no nonsense way! Wish he were 50 years younger, a true example of a great doctor! He rocks

Dr Z brags about his awards, true, but he has earned the right because he is the BEST. You might wait a long time in his office because he actually spends time learning everything he can to determine the proper treatment. And if you ever have an emergency he will find a way to fit you in, that is why i don't complain about waiting. I have been seeing him for 30 years and my only fear is that he might retire before i die!

I am very difficult case to diagnosis. Test results non conclusive however dr. Zalkowitz stood fast, referred me to proper specialists and did not loose faith in my complaints of illness no matter what the results stated. Yes some appointments there were long waits but when time came his attention was undivided. I appreciate all his efforts on this long journey.

Dr Zalkowitz started a treatment plan for me 6 years ago. He explained in detailed, answered my questions. Dr Zalkowitz was very caring, kind and sympathetic to my RA. With his expertise I now live a more normal life, minimal pain and the ability to join in physical activity. I am so thankful to have found this doctor. I highly recommend Dr Zalkowitz.
