The staff is highly attentive to the residents' needs and offer compassionate senior care. Allaire Health Services strives to provide  quality care and excellent services in a home-like atmosphere. This place is horrible. They poured their money into the lobby and that's it. Most of the staff have a horrible attitude to the simplest questions and they do not give consistent meals or have any knowledge of food allergies. Literally skipped meals for my mother saying "that room is not getting food." absolutley fucking ridiculous. I hope this place goes out. No respects for patients not their families.

My husband had 2 brain surgeries (mets to brain, with lung cancer primary) since January 8, 2021 at Sloan Kettering in NYC. . On May 7th, He was admitted into Allaire rehab not able to walk, talk or use his right arm. The staff was incredibly wonderful and attentive as well as he rehab team. He has made tremendous progress and was just released today on July 6, 2021 being able to walk unassisted w/ a walker, talk much better and right arm had improved immensely. We really didn't know where his progress would go considering the extent of his surgeries, etc  but can honestly say we are so impressed with ALL his progress in such a short period of time and all thanks to the entire staff at Allaire. We cannot thank them enough and are so grateful they have such an amazing rehab program. My husband also made some great connections w/ some of the residents & staff there and we both plan on paying them a visit periodically with some goodies as my husband loves his cookies and cakes :)Thank You again!!!!.

This rehabilitation facility is a hell hole they are under staffed,and the nurses at the facility not all of them but they are a few that are unprofessional. There is DON that works at the facility her name is Maura she is a racist, I was visited my family member and I heard her call a cna the n word. I was appalled when I heard that she didn't know I was standing near by. I heard her very clear. She need to be fired from her position. This facility is run so unprofessional it is a disgrace to still be open for business. I have several discrimination on racism at this facility.

This facility is very understaffed......not only during Covid but all of the time. Weekends are especially horrible for the residents! My friend has to spend more time in bed because they are too busy to get her up at a reasonable time. Big turn around with the staff. A lot of agency people have to come in.... patient routines get disrupted. This is unacceptable. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. When I have addressed issues I get “yessed to death” and nothing changes. When I try to call, no one answers a lot of the time and when I leave a message most times I don’t get a returned call. This has been going on for years! Something needs to change.

I am writing this review in hopes that it will reach families of unwell/disabled individuals who plan to consider admission to this facility. It is important to note that my review is not pertaining to direct care staff in the building, but rather upper management and administration. This review will be decently long, but I want to ensure prospective employees and, most of all, potential patients are fully informed. I would like to start this review by forwarding a previous post that the writer was coerced to remove by management as an attempt to maintain a facade of decency for this facility. The following review was posted by a former employee on June 23, 2020 entitled "Toxic environment and horrible management" with a 1 star rating and read as follows:"I have worked at Allaire both as a full time and per diem therapist in the rehab department. I have worked in many facilities, but I have to say, this one is by far the worst. Firstly, upper management and administration are only concerned about the cash flow into their pockets rather than patient care. They love hiring new graduates and have a large ratio of assistants to therapists in effort to save money. The quality of patient care is absolutely horrendous. My patients have been left in soiled diapers all day on multiple occasions. Upper management is so incredibly rude and disrespectful and offer zero support to the therapists. They feel the therapists are easily replaceable with the admin of the building quoting "we can replace you within a day" after therapists expressed their disappointment over a 1 dollar increase in "bonus pay" during the pandemic. They cannot sustain nursing staff because of the toxic environment and poor management. They promote their "horizons" brain injury program as an innovative and supportive environment when it is the complete opposite. It takes months to get patients the equipment they need- unless you're a "VIP" patient (relative or friend of administration) in which they expect you to meet their every need. Do not work for this company if you like being a respected professional. I am so glad I no longer work there."Upper management are discriminatory and favor individual patients as it is convenient for them. I will provide multiple examples of favoritism based on personal connection to administration. Prior to the covid19 pandemic, a patient (friend of administration) was admitted and given a 2 bedroom living space. Administration allowed alternating family members to sleep overnight in the facility room for more than 2 months duration, which monopolized the room and additional bed. During the covid19 pandemic, (including portions when outside visitors were not allowed to enter the facility), administration allowed family members to enter the facility if the patient was their friend/relative. Not only does this go against guidance of the CDC, but it is also unfair for other residents in the building who were limited to outdoor visits only. There are vaguely written rules/regulations in the employee handbook, which they manipulate to their advantage. The direct care staff are overworked and underpaid resulting in poor patient care at no fault of the workers. Please do not fall victim to the facade of new interior construction and social media posts, which attempt to make the facility seem wonderful. I can assure you that you will be disappointed and your loved one will be unhappy. I would not send my loved one to this facility and I urge you to look elsewhere. Stay well and best of luck!

the nurses arent on target when ill i had a seizure and called the nurse her answer was im busy. the rooms could be cleaner

Don't send anyone you care about here.  The place is awful.  I took my family member out and I've worried about all the other patients since we left.  Your personal items will disappear.  The elevator was constantly breaking down.   The good staff, when it was John L. Montgomery, all left instead of taking the forced pay cut.  And caring staff who make a lousy wage is hard to come by. This place even tried to get his social security check, knowing all along I was getting guardianship and was moving him out.  So when I noticed what happened, I immediately went to the local SS office and the supervisor told them point blank, "you get that check mailed back in ten days or I will turn you in".   And that was that.Greed.  be careful.

I left a review on this page a very long time ago when my mother was here and somehow it has disappeared. Any positive reviews I would assume would be from employees because there is no way that you could love someone and put them here. My mother couldnt move half her body but would always have bruises on that side. They wouldn't clean her or brush her teeth, she had no therapy although we paid for it. They left her in the corner of a room and that was it. The nurses are disgraceful, pretty much one for the entire place. I watched another patient slam his head on the table repeatedly and not one staff member came to stop him. I wouldn't send a dead rat to this place. Please dont send anyone you love here, I beg you
