Boris Furman's Online Review Report Card

Dr Furman is a terrific doctor. His staff is a whole different story. I left his practice due to the staff and their lack of professionalism and lies. So disappointed but when you can’t get through to thr dr you want and the staff doesn’t relay your messages or concerns to the dr because they know they’re wrong, I had to leave. Not worth the aggravation the unprofessional office staff causes me (a stroke survivor who was with the dr for over 12 years).

Doctor Furman may or may not be a good doctor but his office is horribly disorganized and unprofessional. I met with him twice and both times he told me it was important to get an MRI as soon as possible and his office would contact my insurance company for authorization. Neither time did his office do that. I waited over three weeks for them to call my insurance company. They did not and they never returned my calls. Sometimes I could not even leave messages because his message box was filled! I should also mention that during my first visit I was kept waiting for two and a half hours! That is no way to run a doctor's office. I found a wonderful neurologist elsewhere. That office got my authorization in two days.

worst staff ever, trying to reject people by telling them need referrals when none is needed by my insurance plan,. They also don't answer the phone or return calls.

I highly recommend Dr. Furman. The comfort level in his office is a 10+ he is an extremely knowledgeable doctor And exhibits that well. I don’t plan on doctor visits in the future but if I have the need I will definitely go back to Dr. Furman.

There are no perfect words I can think of that can define one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I have ever met I’m a person who always had health issues now I’m 58 I’ve seen a lot of doctors in my life time and no one could hold a candle to him He spend the time with you what ever it takes. For me the best way to describe him is a god send And this dr furman

Dr Furman is a very carring proffessional intelligent and understanding Dr I highly recommend and staff very attentive.

Best doctor ever. Very caring, thinking and attentive. Solved my problems no other doctor was be able to solve. Spends a lot of time with the patient, always makes the follow up calls. Would recommend Dr Furman to everyone!

This doctor is unable to properly diagnose my condition and is shifting a burden of proof on me by stating that I am imagining my health issues and offering to take psychiatric drugs, while the actual symptoms go undiagnosed and untreated. I feel I've wasted too much valuable time with him. However, this does not end there, the doctor also refers me to other doctors with the same diagnosis that basically stands for "I do not know what is wrong with my patient," so other doctors will not take me seriously either. This is a vicious circle. Never had I imagine that I would have to convince doctors of legitimacy of my symptoms instead of getting diagnosed properly and treated. I was referred to Dr. Furman by my physician as one of the best. A ridiculous claim as I now see it. On my last visit, the doctor told me that he has other patients to see and to state my additional concerns quickly. And this is after 1 hours of waiting on him.
