List of Iris R. Mentle's Reviews
Staff wasn't helpful . I made appointment almost 3 months ago and confirmed appointment. It was at 1.30 pm gps was taking us around the buildings . Address wasn't clear went to all the buildings when asking at customer service not this building go around in the back. Weather was bad raining and windy. My husband had stroke and got left side paralyzed can't walk fast . On top no parking and can't find building. Finally when I reach there at the window girl said you are late 1 hour you have to reschedule and available in May. I explained her it took 3 months to get appointment for today and now may. My husband can't even walk he is heart patient . Its very important to see the dr. But she refused to see him . I was very disappointed with this kind of service.
I have what are likely related to long Covid symptoms and had waited >3 months for this appointment. She was incredibly dismissive, not attentive at all, and didn’t acknowledge any of my family history. Any concerns I brought up were “not related to the issue” and everything was mental, even though I’ve been in the ER. Any questions I made were flippantly answered. Apparently all my heart problems are not heart-related.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. mental goes out of her way to spend time with you and answer questions which causes her to sometimes run a little behind schedule. She will also take in an emergency patient last minute and have to push a few appointments back very few doctors left that will even do that but when you need her she is there for you.
Took my 94 year old mom to see Dr. Mentle today. Dr. Mentle took her time, was very respectful and gave us great advice. I highly recommend this doctor.
Dr Mentle is thorough and knowledgeable, patient and kind. Many people seem to expect a fast food experience when visiting the doctor; they want to be in and out quickly. The problem with this sort of expectation is that it does not take into account the serious nature of the visit; and it does not afford the physician the time to really understand what ails the patient. Dr Mentle's wait times are longer than usual, but she is one Doc you can really count on and has been my doc for 7 years.
I have been a patient for 11 years. Dr. Mentle diagnosed my condition for what turned out to be a triple bypass operation prior to a heart attack. I am now scheduling a stress test on recommendation of my primary doctor. I have complete trust in her ability.
In all my years of going to doctors and being a professional in the field, I have never ever seen the kind of unprofessional behavior and total lack of awareness of the presence of patients by support staff as I did today. Loud and clear, talking about their personal lives, their dogs' lives, issues with patients, taking phone calls or talking to each other in the middle of registering patients. Five women standing in a little room more preoccupied with what was outside the office then inside...while a line of patients wait! I told the woman at the desk that we shouldn't have to hear their personal conversations and info about patients, I asked her if she agreed, she said "NO, it wasn't personal" It wasn't??? So I closed the little PRIVACY window for her. I had given my ID and copay and paperwork and continued to wait for total of 45 minutes beyond appointment time. (Dr. Mentle hadn't arrived yet) I found out from another patient that this "kindergarten behavior" has been worse...with that I went to the window, asked for my stuff back and my money, ("But I'm almost done with your chart") and walked out. I had never done that before!

Very helpful, caring staff. It made the exam very easy and you felt like they were really interested in your health and well being.
office staff is rude

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
