List of James Fischkoff's Reviews
I went to the Edison office for the first time and had a great experience. The receptionist was very welcoming and kind. Dr. Fischkoff was incredibly attentive, patient, and helpful. He took his time explaining things to me and answered all of my questions. I was very happy with my experience at this office and with Dr. Fischkoff
Had a 2:45pm appt on a Friday w/ Dr. Fishkoff. Drove an hour to the appt. As a courtesy, I called to tell them know that I was running 5 minutes late due to traffic. Received a call back as I was driving up to building stating that since I was his last patient & was running a few minutes behind, I would need to reschedule the appt. I explained that I would be there with in minutes & had driven a long distance for the appt. I was told that regardless that I was so close he wouldn’t see me & would need to reschedule. I cannot express how absolutely unprofessional this doctor is. I now understand why he has such bad reviews. His office team, on the other hand, is wonderful. If you are looking for a compassionate doctor with good bedside manner, do yourself a favor & look elsewhere.
I went to this doctor because my feet were swollen to twice the size. He didn't even examine my feet. Took bloodwork, never called with the results. I scheduled and kept an appointment with another dr. after that. She not only took my shoes and socks off, but examined my body because one foot had a fungus and said the meds I'm on can cause that. She immediately put me on medicines for that and the original problem
Six years ago my 74 year old mother received a letter from.Dr F because she called too much and was "difficult" so they told her that they could no longer be her doctor. My mom suffers from depression and anxiety and has chronic pain and can come across as difficult but this was unnecessary. So six years later she is looking for a Dr for her pain and her doctor gave her a name. The person she was seeing was not Dr. F but in the same practice. My father and mother did not realize this. They show up to the office and they tell her about the letter and turn her away. I guess he does not know how to deal with the elderly or anyone with mental health issues. You are just labeled as difficult and they move on. This practice should be ashamed of themselves. People who are in pain and struggle are not always the perfect patients and need more care and concern rather than less.
Dr. Fischkoff ,Was available my old doctor Dr.ElKadi is not taking many patients, I was pleasantly surprised. He ordered a bone density test for me with a wonderful lady named Pam, who made it pleasant and quick! When I went back in for the bone density test instead of him making me get another appointment he kind of popped his head in and looked at all over and explain some things to me. Very happy with the service
Dr. Fischkoff is a WONDERFUL doctor. He is so compassionate and caring. I called his office not too long ago because I needed his help. I received a return call within 5 minutes. Under his care I have conquered my RA. He really tries very hard to make sure I am pain free and taking the adequate medicine. I have been going to him for many years and he always listens. I highly recommend him.
Same complaint!!!! You only see him for less than 5 minutes. Not once have i ever received a call regarding my blood work nor does he ever go over the results in the next appt [now that i think about it]. He doesn't talk much and seems disinterested; expressionless. Just asks if anything is wrong, send you for blood work and thats it. There is no actual physical check up in these appts if you mention you don't notice anything out of ordinary; unlike how my previous retired doctor did even if i mentioned that i didn't have any issues he always checked. i only stay out of convenience. So if you have any recommendations for a superior lupus doctor, its greatly appreciated.
Nothing to rave about.Have been going here every 3 months for over 2 years now for my lupus, and not once have I ever received a call regarding the results of my blood work and not once has Dr. Fischkoff gone over the results from these blood works with me either [ come to think of it]. He doesn't speak much and the actual time he spends with you is under 5 min. You tell him if anything is wrong and that's it. He doesn't physically check you like my previous retired rheumatologist. Dr. Fischkoff could be more attentive and have better bedside manners and the staff is wonderful though. I stay because i haven't been able to locate a "great" rheumatologist in the area and out of convenience I have stayed. So if you have any recommendations for doctor for lupus in the manalapan, marlboro, old bridge, parlin area, it would be greatly appreciated.

Dr Fishkoff is caring, professional and knowledgable. He helped my when I was approaching aN RA flare while 8,000 miles from home.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
