Highly recommend Dr. Sowemimo! He performed my gallbladder surgery last week at CentraState Hospital. He is an extremely kind, caring, compassionate, thorough, gentle, understanding, knowledgeable doctor and surgeon. I recovered from my surgery in less than a week with minimal pain. His surgical work is very precise and careful. This was my first surgery experience and I was scared to death - I felt comfortable in the hands of Dr. Sowemimo, I had the best experience I could have ever imagined. Do not hesitate to be a patient of Dr. Sowemimo.

The healing started for me in Jan of 2021. One short year later, with revision surgery behind me, I’m a completely different person than she who walked through the door to Prime SURGICARE for my consult in January 2021. Little did I imagine I’d be having surgery May 26 of the same year, 7 short months ago, and be down 93 lbs. The weight loss is a bonus to the newfound self respect and belief in my capabilities that has been uncovered. I love who I’ve found I am and how much I have committed myself to this 2nd chance Drs Auguste and Seun have blessed me with. In 2007 at 51 years of age I had Roux En Y gastric bypass in NY. I’d lost 160 lbs. 14 yrs later I was up 80 lbs and knew I needed to do something FAST before I regained it all! I found Dr Seun and messaged him on FACEBOOK. Several months later he answered me and asked me to reach out to his front office staff for an appointment. I didn’t know it then but hope was in the air once again for me.I was told I probably wouldn’t lose weight as quickly w revision surgery as I did w gastric bypass. That didn’t matter to me. I was desperate for help! Not only did Dr Auguste and Dr Seun help me but they restored my faith in myself. My weight loss has been amazingly quick, I exercise 90 min a day now. 45 min every morning 45 min after work, this froma 65 yr old woman who was having a hard time even walking into my consult. The support and genuine care and concern from Prime Surgicare and the entire staff has been amazing. They have become my family in the past year. We truly support one another’s accomplishments and try to help one another w our experience and shared struggles. I cannot say enough about this amazing practice. These are doctors who are truly cheerleaders for us and there for any questions we may have. I can’t thank every here enough for the guidance and help they have been in my transformation; I’m less than a year since surgery and I can’t wait to see where I’ll be by my 1 year surgiversary. If you’re on the fence wondering is this the team for you PLEASE jump off the fence and run to make an appointment! Trust someone who thought there was no help out there and that I would never be able to get the weight off and live happy and healthy again…there is hope and Drs Seun and Auguste and Lori, the nutritionist are here for you! ❤️

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Sowemimo and his crew over at Prime SurgiCare! They are all wonderful, accommodating, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Seun performed the sleeve gastrectomy surgery on me at the beginning of 2021. I had zero complications and his staff has been very supportive and helpful with any questions I have had along the way. Since then I was able to loose 85 pounds, with more to come. My weight-loss journey has been inspiring to many, so much so that my parent’s were motivated to join the bariatric community and got the sleeve as well! Collectively, the three of lost more than 200 lbs in 2021!Additionally, Dr. Seun performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) surgery on me as well. This was an urgent situation and despite this occurring the night before a holiday, he did not hesitate to operate and do so diligently. Dr. Seun is highly skilled and took me in with great care.I am pleased with my decision of coming to his practice.
