Steven Pinard's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Pinard for many years now, and unfortunately I didn’t meet him early enough! Prior to him I needed glasses and the doctors prescribed me the wrong prescription with lack of care for years which caused me to have worsened vision over the years going from -0.75 to a -2.25. After seeing Dr. Pinard the last 4/5 years he always made sure I had the right fitting lenses with the proper prescription needed, as the other doctors never diagnosed me with astigmatism as Dr.Pinard did ( which is why my vision worsened due to not proper treatment). After seeing Dr. Pinard my lenses are a very low -1.00 prescription, as due to his expertise my vision is almost 20/20 and I can see again almost super clear without contacts even! Even though he doesn’t take my insurance, I come see him every year as I don’t trust anyone else with my eyes!! Best eye doctor around! Also my mom saw him and loves him too! We both think he’s super patient, takes his time, and throughly checks patient history and eyes the best he can. Go to him if you can!! Front desk staff are also super nice to my entire family and I always.

Literally the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure to see. My biggest complaint with any doctor is the fact that they don’t seem to want to explain things to me. And Dr. Pinard every time I have a personal concern he takes a significant time out of his day to explain to me what my concerns are and WHY they are happening. I 100% recommend him to everyone needing eye care. He is the best!

My first appointment with Dr. Pinard was several decades ago (I age - he doesn't!). I have been his patient - - as has my wife - - ever since. I learned long ago that you do not tamper with success. Dr. Pinard's professionalism is world-class. He takes the time to make certain his patients are properly examined. His prescriptions are spot-on. His dedication and wise advice cannot be disputed. Dr Pinard is very very caring and thorough with your care. He has been my eye doctor for quite some time. He is very caring, explains everything you need to know about your eyes and the glasses or contacts you will need.

Dr. Pinard has been our family's optometrist for 3+ years. Dr. & staff are knowledgeable, easy going and friendly. Exams are thorough and never rushed. Highly recommend.

Dr. Pinard has been my Optometrist for quite a few years now and I can always depend on him for great eye exams. He is very knowledgeable and will make sure that all of your questions or concerns are answered. He has quite a nice eyeglass selection, and I have to say, the eyeglasses I recently purchased from him have to be the best I have ever had. No more Lenscrafters for me!

I went to several different eye doctors, before getting a good prescription by Dr Pinard. I appreciate that he takes his time with his patients and therefore may delay other patients. We would not think of going anywhere else. He does not accept my insurance, but I would rather pay and get a good exam. Originally, a co-worker recommended him because like me, she could never get a good exam. Too bad there are such poor reviews---as a healthcare professional, I realize some people feel appointments can always be on time, but that is not always the case. Lost appointments are the fault of the secretary, or scheduler, not the doctor.

Excellent experience all around. Exam was thorough, eye doctor friendly and brilliant, staff competent and professional. Bonus is that LensCrafters is right there and it's located in the mall (so if you have to wait, you can at least walk around). I did read the other posted review and I do agree that the wait times are a bit much. That being said, bring a book, an ipad or something to occupy your time and you'll be fine. I don't object to waiting 30 minutes to be seated at a restaurant and I certainly don't object to waiting for the eye doctor (which is only once every 2 years).
