John Imbesi's Online Review Report Card

Staff is as cold as Dr. Imbesi. He and his staff have no bedside manner and he belittles anyone he deems not at his level. I went in and was told I needed an Endoscopy. I told Dr. Imbesi that due to work it would be difficult to find the time. His answer to me was, "It looks like you can't afford it. Don't make excuses for a procedure you need." NEVER did I say it was about money, but because I was not wearing a suit or slacks he had the audacity to demean me. Looks like racism and stereotyping people is NOT a thing of the past. As for his staff, either get a job you like or work for someone you like. Stop taking out your failures and your disgruntles on patients. If you hate working with people like your boss does, JUST LEAVE! Patients go there to be treated with respect and to be cared for. Obviously, this place just cares about the money and not the people. Never again will I ever stop foot in such a horrible office.

Office staff was unhelpful and poor at coordinating procedure. Waited 2 hours for colonoscopy and had to change in a cramped office. Afterwards, the doctor was unapologetic and gave a poor consultation. Overall, bad experience.

This person who masquerades as a doctor, destroyed my father's liver during a colonoscopy. This damage led to immense suffering & pain for the duration of his life, which ended shortly after the damage took place. Don't trust doctors - they all defend each other. And this one will not prolong your life.

DR JOHN IMBESI IS A WONDERFUL DOCTOR. I had a colonoscopy and he was very compassionate, professional and friendly. My first office visit prior to the procedure he explained everything in detail. The day of my procedures, he came over to me to ask if I had questions, and after the procedure he came to the recovery room and explained that all was good. That was a relief to know. I will recommend Dr Imbesi to my family and friends. His office staff is friendly and helpful.

Dr Imbesi is the "best".....He is clear about everything and has a wonderful manner. I have been seeing him for w number of yeats and can't say enough good things about him.. Thanks Doc !!!

Thorough, caring and helpful.

I've had 3 or 4 colonoscopies with Dr, Imbesi and can't sing his praises loud enough. His gentle manner, easy of talking to and his explaining everything so clear makes the whole process simple. I actually look forward to having the procedure done. In fact I am scheduling my next one for this year.

I do not know about the problems others had with Dr. Imbesi, but my experience was totally different. I first met the doctor in the hospital where it was found that I was very seriously ill. I was told by several doctors that if I hadn't sought treatment when I did, I would have likely died in liver failure (caused by a medication) within 3 weeks. Dr. Imbesi was called in. His bedside manner made me immediately confident that he was doing all that could be done. After a week, my condition improved sufficiently that I was allowed to go hone. Dr. Imbesi followed me carefully post-hospitalization and continues to do so. I truly believe that without such quality care, I might not have lived. On other matters, while no one "likes" a colonoscopy, a prudent person has one regularly. Dr. Imbesi made me feel very comfortable with the procedure, shared results with my son and me immediately after, and showed me films at my post-procedure appointment. I have always found him to be willing to explain anything I did not understand. He is very easy to talk to. He has my highest recommendation. And his staff have been extremely helpful at all times.
