From start to finish I had a wonderful experience with preparing for cataract surgery, undergoing that surgery and with post op care and checks. The personnel in the office were professional and demonstrated care in the preparation and providing services afterward. Dr Friend was explicit in setting expectations, answering questions and the surgery went splendidly. The team in the surgical unit were also very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Friend and his team.

Dr. Adam Friend recently provided cataract surgery for me and from start to finish it was great. The office staff were terrific. The procedure was explained well and the Doctor answered all questions. At the surgery unit Dr. Friend’s team worked well, provided excellent patient care and the surgery was quick and successful.

I am 60 years old and have been to my share of ophthalmologists. In my opinion Dr Friend truly the best in his field. He’s a different caliber of doctor hands down. Highly recommend him. His staff is great also

I would like to give Dr. Friend a 5 star, he is an excellent eye doctor. However, when I went for my scheduled appointment, I was surprise to see that the client area was full packed with clients. One person informed me that they had been waiting over 30 minutes to see the doctor. I looked around and saw no clients sitting 6 feet apart, I guess because of the small size of the office waiting area, they were not able to. I then asked one of the clerical staff if I could sit somewhere 6 feet away from others due to the CDC's guideline on the Coronavirus. She advised me that everyone had been given a check and was fine. Well I had been in the office for at least 5-8 minutes and know one had checked my temperature nor even asked me if I carried the virus. I was informed that if I was not happy with the waiting area that I could wait outside in the hall (not part of their office) until I was able to see the doctor. I was upset, advised her that I felt like she had spoken in a sarcastic tone to me. I advised her also that the virus was real and serious, that I any of us could have it and should not have to sit that close nor wait outside without chairs in the hallway. Some others agreed with me and an elderly gentlemen said I was right and left when I left. Before leaving, I advised that I would be back when they called me and informed me that they were adhering to the CDC guidelines. So sad because I really needed to have that eye appointment but also needed to worry about my overall health more and the possibility of getting Covid 19 due to the closeness of everyone in such a small office waiting space. But again, let me reiterate that I think Dr. Friend is an awesome doctor. Just not playing around with my health.

Dr Friend is a courteous, professional and experienced opthamologist, a Provider of excellent service. His courteous/ friendly office staff is a reflection of his practice. Dr. Friend recentlyperformed laser cataract surgery on both of my eyes and I am so happy and satisfied. It was uneventful and painless, even though I was very anxious about doing it. I made the right choice in choosing him and I have no reservation in recommending this excellent doctor to everyone.

Dr. Friend is an outstanding ophthalmologist. His examinations are thorough and precise. He explains procedures and conditions and patiently answers all questions. Dr. Friend’s “bedside manner” is very reassuring. He is very kind and makes me feel very comfortable.
