I went with a friend who saw this MD> Very high office fees. No value added. Not willing to give prescription even for important medicines and not willing to give a test is required so a medicine can be prescribed. And charging too much?

I recently moved to NJ and found Dr Grizzanti on internet! I have been twice now and the whole experience has been more than positive! His nurse, Liz, is quick witted and very knowledgeable! Dr Grizzanti has a brilliance about him and a reassuring bedside manner to him. They both make me laugh! Where else can you get top notch care with a side order of entertainment these days! Great doctor but beware of the extremely HIGH fees charged by this office. I had blood tests taken that were sent to Labcorp and my out of pocket ended up being in excess of $500. My first office visit: Charges in excess of $500 I had to call their office to set up a follow up visit to review the high priced blood tests that i was sent for (had no idea they would cost that much and was not forewarned). A 60 second review of the test results in the office was billed in excess of $240. Bottom line, the charges are not reasonable or customary for the services being rendered. Wish there was some kind of state regulation for this stuff but my appeals (to lower these bills) to the office were flatly denied. Good luck to everyone. My advice it to ask for what the charges will be prior to your visit(s). I found out the hard way - after the fact.

My daughter developed severe asthma in her teens. The doctor and staff took tremendous care of her and have greatly improved the quality of her health. We're very thankful to have found Dr. Grizzanti.

Dr. Grizzanti is EXCELLENT. However, the office staff is terrible. I always have to call and follow-up on my refills because they don't send them to the pharmacy. I have been waiting close to 2 months to start a new drug therapy because they don't process the paperwork. Also, the wait time to see the doctor has consistently run 1 hour past my appointment time for each visit. I am willing to stand the wait but the incompetency of the office staff in their followup is starting to wear on me.

My Dad passed under his care. Suffice to say, his care was sub par. Very sad. I say this not to get even but to guide others to seek better care. My Dad was supposed to have oxygen for months prior to his death. The doctor NEVER ordered it for him.

Dr. Grizzanti is the best Pulmonary/Allergy doctor. As far as I'm concerned, he is the "Asthma God." The entire staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Dr. Grizzanti & his staff take time with patients & I've never felt rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Grizzanti.

Well what can I say Dr. Grizzanti and his staff have been a God send. To make a long story short I went to a number of Dr.’s over a period of 2 years and when I finally made it to Dr. Grizz. He diagnosed me and came up with a medical plan. I was miserable and in and out of the Hospital. He and Liz (His Head Nurse) Are like family to me and make me feel like they truly care and I am not just a number. I would recommend him and his staff anytime!!!!
