Dr. Ahlborn seemed humble, kindly and competent, but his office staff is curt and incompetent, which in the end reflects poorly on him. I ended up cancelling surgery with him because of the mistakes his staff made in scheduling my surgery.

Dr. Ahlborn seemed competent, kindly and smart, but his office staff was rude, curt and incompetent. They made a mistake in scheduling my surgery, then tried to blame me for the error. So I ended up cancelling surgery with Dr. Ahlborn. That he condones and overlooks an incompetently rude office staff reveals an enormous blind spot -- not a quality you want in a surgeon.

I had Hernia surgery with Dr Ahlborn back in December and he was a pleasure to work with. He was very patient and treated me with care every step of the way, from beginning to end. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a good surgeon!

So very happy and thankful we chose Dr. Ahlborn to do my husband's surgery. He is extremely skilled and professional. We completely trust him 1000% with his expertise. It was so comforting to be completely at ease and not worry about the quality of care Dr. Ahlborn provided. I cannot recommend him enough. Kind, frank, and thorough bedside manner.
