Been here 2.5 hours, got results via email before a human came to see me!
Went in for a work related injury and the lady up front clearly is misinformed or just does not know what she is doing. I did not get her name but she denied service for my urgent needs because I did not have the paper work that I wouldn’t have been able to attain under 24 hours regardless. She then proceeded to tell me that no other urgent care would be able to see me and only a hospital would. This which is absolutely incorrect as I then headed to CityMD in Watchung and they gladly provided the care I urgently needed. I was surprised with my extremely upsetting experience today as I have been here multiple times. Don’t waste your time here if you need urgent care… they clearly don’t care and are insanely misinformed with common procedures.
Quick, professional service
Dr. Shannon sat and listened to the issues I am having and also helped plan a way for me to manage what I have been dealing with... She calls back and is very approachable.
The entire medical staff left a patient who started to have chest pain sitting in an exam room for over a half hour without being seen or having vitals taken. When it was brought to their attention, the only thing they said was "you're next on the rack". This facility should not be an Atlantic Health System facility. I thought AHS held their personnel to higher standards, especially since they boast being #1 in the state.
Waited 1:20 minutes to be seen by a doctor left the room, my blood pressure went up .not a good experience.went to medemerge much better services like always!
I've been going here for years and I use them as my primary physician as well.I always recommend them to friends because the staff truly cares about their patients and wants them to get well.Even during COVID times, the staff is caring and friendly and I am impressed by how well they are handling this pandemic.
Family Care has been my primary for over 30 years! I won't leave, but Atlantic Health has to figure something out during this covid pandemic how to take care of their loyal patients. It is not right that their loyal patients who helped put them where they are (especially seniors) are meant to get there 6am when they don't open til 8 and stand in line for 2 hrs. Med e merge around the corner is taking good care of their loyal patients, maybe you could learn from them. Covid people are going to come and go, remember your patients who helped you get where you are today! 5 stars for doctors 1 star for the way we are being treated.
I love this place, the staff and doctors are always greta they have been my doctors for over 10 years now. However, the one star is simply because there is no way to get in to see the doctor when Covid exists. And I feel that people that are patients already should be able to still be seen when its not covid related without waking up at 5 am to wait online with those needing Covid tests. Every practice is separating covid testing ppl and those just sick or needing bloodwork etc but here they are not
They opened at 9am and stopped testing at 1130, furthermore I need to know why are they charging a copay for a covid swab. They literally turn it into an office visit just to get paid. Then the doctor comes in and gives you a whole speech. Ridiculous just go somewhere else. I also felt like the receptionist were trying to avoid me. I stood in a line in the hallway with 6 other people while they were chatting!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
