Terrible. Arrogant and patronizing man. will never go to him again
STEVEN RISMAN is racist he shouldn’t be able to treat people. He made me feel like I was nothing. I went there to get help and left feeling like my dignity was revoked. He was very disrespectful and called me names that no doctor should be able to. Then he kicked me out because I spoke up Family Care PA still billed me. The whole urgent care stood behind him and supported his racist ways. People like him should be able to have their medical license. I pray that more people speak up. This has to stop.
This man is a mockery to the medical field and should not be allowed near patients. It is evident that he has no training in dealing with any mental health issues whatsoever. My intake clearly stated that I have ptsd and anxiety. While waiting for him to see me, I began having a panic attack from being claustrophobic in the non-ventilated waiting room for close to two hours with an injury that was increasing in pain as the time passed since I was losing feeling due to my leg dangling for so long. The wait does not matter to me but since my injury was not elevated and in an awkward position, the pain was getting so bad I started to lose my balance. I was seeing double, couldn't breathe, and was shaking uncontrollably. When he came in, my speech was slurred and I was close to passing out. He told me to give the quick version of why I was there and after a brief look walked away. When I asked him to keep the door open, he didn't hear me so I said it again louder. To this he responded by swinging the door open and yelling at me from across the entire office that "IT WAS AN ACCIDENT " I started to cry and was taken back by how unprofessional and unintelligent he was. I was convinced that I was about to pass out at this point because my breathing was so irregular. When he saw that I was crying he continued yelling at me to "stop making such a big deal and just calm down". I had to ask him three times to please stop yelling and that I was having trouble breathing. His staff members kept apologizing for him. Fast forward two hours and I hear him say "I don't even want to go back to that room". I am reporting him to every place possible. He should not be around people. Having a panic attack does not mean I was being insubordinate or rude and a panic attack should not be treated like an inconvenience to medical staff.

Dr. Risman was the one who diagnosed me afther going to several doctors ..thanks to him i am getting better day by day...God bless you always
Dr. Risman is fantastic. He doesn’t rush you and is very thorough. I need his schedule for the Greenbrook nj, family care.
Today I went to Family care Pa because Dr. Chafos had such great reviews. However, I ended up seeing Dr. STEVEN RISMAN. Listen, I have never in my life felt so bad. I came to the doctors with pain just for him to be very unprofessional and tell me I was one lying about how I was feeling and two lying about my precriptions drugs like i’m an addict. I also asked for another doctor because I felt so uncomfortable and I was being mistreated for the color of my skin. I’m devasted, if he worried more about my medical history a person like me doesn’t do well with mental abuse. He doesn’t know what he did to me, just because one person has a off situation doesn’t mean everyone should be treated that way. I left before i good even get treated by him , no one derseves to be treated like he treated me.

They very profeccional and worried about your health..
I found Dr. Risman to be an excellent Dr. He listened, was thorough, spent much time with me, answered questions, and perhaps above all was correct in his diagnosis. I have made him my primary after having been with the previous Dr. for 35 years, so that says something.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
