List of Syed Ahmed's Reviews
My father has a health anxiety disorder, and he constantly sends my father for unnecessary tests year after year which always turn out to be nothing. Clearly does not have my father’s best interest at heart.
Dr.Ahmed is a very caring doctor. He listens and understands all concerns when treating my family and myself.
I’ve been a longtime RWJ patient, and first time visit to Medemerge to get tested for Covid. Dr. Ahmed walked into the room, took one look at my mother and me and decided he was simply not going to hear us out. I’m immunocompromised (wbc below 4.0 for the last 3 years, but why would a “good doctor” care for this information) and he tells me that Paxlovid is not for people like me, it’s for older people. Iim told I wouldn’t need anything since I’m still young enough to fight off the virus. Hmmmm? Even though Pfizer says it’s for 12+ yrs or older, as well as high risk. Tells us that it is however for my mother. Only to find out that this power tripping dr called in the lesser efficacy rx for my mom which studies have shown only has 30% reduction in hospitalization. There is nothing my mother is on to justify the switch in RX. Definitely not formulary related because it’s covered federally. It’s doctors like him that force people to be their own advocates when it comes to proper medical attention and care. Never again with this guy.
Condescending and rude. Zero empathy or ved side manners. A horrible experience being a patient of this doctor.
He's the my family doctor, he's the very good doctor.
First time seeing this physician at Medemerge. He made me feel as if my concerns were true issues and wanted to get to the root of the problems. Definitely would request seeing him again.
This guy is a complete scumbag, I have a permanent scar on my thigh due to him not giving me the correct treatment and not taking his time to listen to me, he only cares about getting you out of the exam room as quickly as possibly. I don’t know how he is actually a MD.
My visit was very good u felt comfortable from the start very nice Dr he is my new Dr now
My first impression was doc is requesting unnecessary test to increase revenues from insurance companies. I clearly stated I already had an EKG for clearance; I’m in excellent health, thank God.
Not the best bedside manner and didn't seem to really listen. He had sort of an arrogant attitude. I didn't have a good experience overall and felt his attitude in general was bad. As a female I felt talked down to. I wouldn't see this doctor again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
