Por primera vez mi cita a las las 2 pm, lleno todos mis documentos requeridos, a la hora de estar alli me hacerco y pregunto si pasaba algo , que no me llamaban, donde me informa que ensequida me llamarian, son las 6.40pm ultima paciente y munca me llamaton porque no le entregaron mis documentos a la enfermera..para realizar el chequeo de rutinas......mi experiencia y opinion...pesimo trabajo de las recepcionista..del medico no puedo opinar porque nunca lo pude ver....... ademas de oir a todos en la sala la queja de la demora en atenderce..conclusion : se demoran para darte la cita, se demoran para atenderte y en mi caso mal atendida.... My mother has a serious urgent surgery coming up, and the staff of this Dr. refuses to send essential information needed about her pacemaker for the surgery to be performed. We drove for an hour to an appointment that was to be done before the surgery, and they never received the needed info. We called several times and spoke to his staff to no avail. We waited for several hours, and finally they told us nothing could be done because of no communication from Dr. Santana's staff. I doubt he even found out we called. My mother has called his medical assistant, several times, and the one time, my mother, was able to get a hold of her, his medical assistant's response to my mother was, to take it, "easy." What kind of uncaring people does this Dr., have working for him? She has left messages on their answering service, and nothing- no communication. When they do answer, the response is, the Dr. is not here. They speak like they're annoyed and hang up quickly, with no resolve. My mother's surgery was delayed for several weeks even though, she had been told, it was urgent for her to get this done asap. My mother was referred to another Dr. for her surgery and it's ridiculous that she has to see a Dr. who doesn't know her history and delay her surgery, all because this Dr. staff are utterly incompetent. Dr. Santana, is a good Dr. but because of his staff, and lack of communication, I had to give him a one star review. What a shame. I am very happy to be Dr. Santana's patient. He demonstrates patience in answering questions, explaining procedures and outcomes. He doesn't rush through his time with you like other doctors. The appointments are not on time but the wait to me is worth it because he takes his time with you. The staff have been kind, and very caring . I will not change him as my cardiologist. Dr. Santana truly cares, and is a brilliant doctor who treats the cause not the symptoms! Amazing Doctor!

I wish I could give the staff -stars. They are the worst. It took them three days for them to fax over a few test results to another doctor, all because the girl was on break. I like the Dr. Santana but I am switching because of this terrible staff.

In my opinion, Dr. Santana is the best internist in the Tampa Bay region. He has been my primary physician for over 5 years now and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with him. He offers me practical medical advice, stays on top the latest research and offers me lifestyle guidance that is rooted in the real world, not a medical vacuum. Three years ago I moved out of town, yet I still keep Dr. Santana as my PCP because of how much I trust him. The only negative I would say about his practice is that since he's such a well regarded physician, his practice is in demand and it is sometimes difficult to get in and see him on short notice.

Dr. Santana is very knowledgeable & thorough in his assessments, DX & TX. He "Listens" to his patients. He is very caring & compassionate. His qualifications are excellent. Can not say enough positives about Dr. Santana. In our book ... He is The Best of the Best!

We have been under Dr. Santana's care for over 10 years. He is an amazing physician with an impressive educational background. He is very kind and caring. His staff is welcoming and efficient.

The staff in this office the the worse, the dont have any urgency to help the patients, the Dr is never available to return an urgent call the staff never deliver messages to Dr to try to call pt back i will never recomend this facility to anyone

Just like the others, you have to wait 3 to 5 hours to be seen, my mother likes him a lot and doesn't change him because she's scared of going to another dr. He is a good Dr. however his staff is the WORST EVER!! I'm sure he's not getting the messages we leave and if he is then shame on him! My mother just literally got out of the hospital in which he doesn't partake whixh is fine, but when he tells you: Tell my staff to patch me through in case of an emergency" so why did we just call and tell them that the my mother needs to be seen within 24 hours of getting out the hospital and they refused to call him or she can see him in a month!!!!
