One of the best!!! Very understanding and caring thank you!!!

Doesn’t return calls, ended up in the ER with a blood clot and she did not even call the ER doctor back. Kept me waiting for over 2 hrs for an appt without apology. Very poor care.

My mother to whom I am caregiver to is suffering from stage 4 metastisized breast cancer & was seeing an oncologist in the Teaneck area that was doing Absolutely nothing for her, except for 1 mg of anastrozole a day & pain meds, as a matter of fact the Dr & Drs associated w/my mother's case we're throwing around the Hospice word, In essence they gave up on her before even trying to treat her! So I asked a family Dr that I admire, Is there anyone like you (Compassionate,Kind, & treats his patients as his own family!!!) that specializes in oncology & w/o flinching nor looking down he jotted down Dr. McNamara's name & handed it to me, Since then My mother is on a New treatment drug made by Pfizer that we didn't even know existed but the cost was monumental, nearly fourteen thousand dollars a month! But Dr McNamara was detrimental in procuring it for my Mother she filled out the paperwork & deemed it unequivocally necessary, since my mother was as too weak for chemo nor radiation treatments, so as a result ( after filing for financial aid ) We received the drug for ''0'' copay & my mother has been taking it ever since , ''going on 8 months'' in combo w/ another drug & her life has changed for the better to say the Least! Dr McNamara listened to my thoughts & concern's, she showed empathy, commitment & answered all our questions was patient & kind & most important she was skilled & knew exactly what mom needed, also she made it possible for us to get access to this new treatment option even though it was Way out of our financial abilities to obtain! Her staff is also kind,warm & knowledgeable. I have No doubts that if not for her, my mother would perhaps not be here right now, So if you or a Loved one needs to be treated for any illness of this type, You'd be a fool not to go to her office for a visit or second opinion!. Thank You Dr McNamara, You Only get One Mother in life & to witness her going through pain & suffering is unbearable, especially when the caregiver is her son whom dearly loves her & you knew it & remedied it. She is still sick but will be here for Alot longer ,God willing, & is doing Soo much better than when being treated by the previous Dr!!! Thank you Dr. I Truly believe that God answered my unceasing prayers when I was given your contact info. So to sum it up she's a 10 star Dr. five stars doesn't do her justice! my words cannot convey my appreciation & thankfulness towards the Dr & All her wonderful staff.

She took as much time as we needed during our visits to answer questions, even if they were the same questions we've asked 2-3 times before. Easily one of the kindest and most compassionate doctors I've ever met, which is so important in her line of work. Her support staff are all as kind and compassionate as she is.

Highly recommend !!! I have had nothing but wonderful and warm experience. From the first time I met Dr. M cNamara, she made me believe I would get cured, She is always encouraging, professional, understanding and listens to your concerns . I am extremely grateful to her and her team. APN Sandy Rozema is always so nice and kind and she always makes me feel good. I really can’t hope for a better doctor and team.

Dr. Mcnamara has an amazing personality and she takes the time to explain the diagnose and her staff is great. Never had an issue scheduling appointments. I highly recommend her as a doctor.

Dr. McNamara has been my oncologist for 6 years. She is a very caring doctor. She is extremely intelligent and has prolonged my life without a doubt. I have a very rare cancer that is always ends up taking it's victim. She has treated me with also maintaining my quality of life. I highly recommend her.

Hard to schedule appointments. Takes along time to get phone calls returned. Very busy.

Dr. McNamara is knowledgeable, friendly and articulates this knowledge carefully and clearly using language and charts that a nervous, worried or scare patient can easily understand. She does allow time for questions but in the initial stages of a diagnosis it is not always easy to come up with questions let alone think during that shortened time with the doctor. Dr. McNamara is no less good at what she does and during my last visit I noticed or at least it felt as though she had slowed her fast pace down allowing me to feel less rushed, lowering my anxiety while increasing my appreciation for and of her as my oncology expert.
