George Stoupakis Md's Online Review Report Card

I have never ever been so disgusted by a doctor. First impression of the office is unsanitary. The ceiling has water stain and mold! The rug was so filthy and stained. Dr. Stoupakis had no idea about my mother’s history from her hospital stay. Never read her chart or looked up her history. I had mentioned to him that she had questions in regards to her ER visit and his response was “ questions are limited”! He also had no idea he took her off medication in hospital and later said it was a mistake ! A two hour wait for this rude, insensitive man! To see my mom so upset because of his uncaring attitude Infuriates me. Sometimes you hear of doctors having “ no personality” but “great professional doctor”. HE HAS NEITHER ! The only thing holding that office together is the front desk girls. They are an amazing staff. The office manager is so kind and understanding. I have never ever been so disgusted by a doctor. Till the end of my Grandmother's life, Dr. Stoupakis was an advocate for her. He is very busy, and the wait for him can be a bit much, but he would contact us with reports and be transparent yet caring regarding my grandmother's condition with pulmonary hypertension and how it impacted her heart. Was going for a pre-op clearance for a different surgery and needed to go for a Cardiac clearance. I was sent to. Dr. Stoupakis . Little did I know that I was a walking timebomb with a serious Aortic valve leak and a badly calcified artery. He noticed the valve leak immediately in about 5 beats of my heart. He also told me that I was very lucky but in a seriously dangerous situation and immediate attention was needed. Saw him Fri was in hosp Tues. Catheterization was done Tues and surgery was Thurs and home Friday at dinner.. I Am so grateful to him for being so alert and quick-witted. If it weren't for him I would not be here today. Also thanks to the Cardiac Team and the skilled hands of Dr Tilak KR Pasala and Dr. Yurie Dudiy who did the surgery for the TVAR Valve replacement. By the way I was terrified of this whole situation because at 71 I've never been in A hospital except for child birth . But after all is said and done, I am thankful to God who watched over me and now I am healthy and enjoying a walk outside which I could not do before. So when you are waiting for Dr. Stoupakis. to get back to his office from a hospital emergency or waiting in the waiting room to be seen, be KIND to the office staff they work very hard and REMEMBER, THIS DR. I've been trying for more dn a week to get an appointment. I call everyday get the answering service leave a message never got a call back.

Went to HUMC 9/20 with breathing issues. ER Dr. not all that concerned. Explained symptoms to Dr Stoupakis. He listened and 5 blockages and a quadruple by pass later, I'm still here. Dr Stoupakis diligence saved my life. Forever grateful. Kevin B.- Clifton, NJ

I think he is great. Very knowledgeable and confident. Makes the patient feel good and secure in his treatment. I wish he took my insurance in the office.

Dr Stoupakis saw me in the ER at HUMC in March 2013 after I’d been injured in a fall. He immediately diagnosed that my mitral valve prolapse had worsened to where I needed surgery and saved my life

Triple A service from Dr. Stoupakis and his loving staff. This Pleasant staff and the Doctor all try to please everyone. Bottom line is that these people save life and work miracles into this small office. I have no regret waiting for the service there as they save my life and work hard to maintain it.
