This dr said my son was epileptic and prescribed him very strong seizure medication. I went to get a second opinion and took an eeg and results came out negative for epilepsy. Imagine I would’ve started pumping my son with all that medication!!! Please from one parent to another be careful with this man!! He only cares about making you take tests and prescribing meds so you can keep on coming back! He also gave me a referral to get an MRI under sedation! The nerve of this man!
This DR does not care about kids all he cares about is making you take exams and putting a label on you. He said my son was epileptic and prescribed him very strong seizure medication. I went to get a second opinion and not surprised the results came out negative. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE PARENTS BEWARE.
I recommend this doctor because has been my doctor since I was 13, now I am 20 (7 years). He's excellent. Very caring, patient, kind, & always asks how I am doing with personal life & academics. He diagnosed with Epilepsy, and has helped me emotionally. Whenever there has been an emergency such as a seizure or I am rushed to the ER, he's always there whether he's in the middle of a shift or sleeping at home at 3AM. He genuinely CARES. I owe him everything for helping me. I love Dr. Serruya.
Our 2 yo son is being seen by Dr. Serruya for a recent diagnosis of epilepsy. I am dissatisfied with the level of care that he is receiving with Dr. Serruya. As a parent of a child that is newly diagnosed, i have expectations that the Doctor would at least spend some time sitting and explaining his diagnosis, prognosis, and various treatment options. What I got instead was a doctor who was clearly in a rush to get to his next patient and we felt "cattled" through the system. He quickly rushed to judgments about our child's development and made his diagnosis seem very scary to us (by mostly placing emphasis on brain damage and all the activities and things he cannot do). Also, we received no discussion on various treatment options available and were just told he needed to start medication ASAP by using scare tactics (i.e., if we don't start the medication our son will continue to have seizures that will cause further brain damage). It was not explained why one medication was chosen over another for our child nor if any non-medication options were available to us. Ultimately, we found that this was not the doctor for us and we have transferred his care.
This office is very unprofessional, from the doctor to his staff. I believe the doctor failed his course of "Moral Ethics".
Absolutely the worse staff- From billing to prescriptions to front desk!! The staff makes the difference and because of them at this point I have had it I'm looking for another Doctor. It's not worth the aggravation, time and stress!
Dr takes long to sttend patient. Not very nice, nasty receptionist, just not a very good doctor diagnose my son with autism, I went to a different dr and he does not have autism went to 2 differnent and same no autism. WASTE OF TIME!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
