Great doctor, in an emergency room filled with patients, she gives you the time of day. She doesnt make you feel rushed, or insignificant. Very thorough with exams and extremely professional. I wish I asked if she had her own practice because I wish I could find a doctor like her as my Primary doctor.

It was Sunday Night, the ER was packed with patients. After a 2 hour wait, I finally got to see Dr Hernandez. Although the ER was so busy she was extremely thorough with trying to find what was the cause of my Fever. And eventho she did all her tests very quick, it didnt feel rushed. She talked to me asked questions, and gave me time to respond, I felt like she cared about my situation, eventho i was 1 of the thousands of patients she sees on a daily basis... I was very happy with this Doctor, came online hoping that she had her own practice. Unlike most doctors, she did not make me feel like it was a rushed situation, and that is why i was hoping to make her my primary doctor. But like the other poster mentioned, Hackensack ER is very lucky to have Dr Hernandez. The Nurse she had with her was very kind as well, however he did bruise my arm with the IV. (ouch!) lol to clarify on my ratings, I can't hold it against the Dr for the extremely long wait in the ER. If it was her practice, waiting that long, I may have rated slightly differently. But strictly as a Dr, her professionalism and attitude towards patients I give her a perfect score!

Although quick, she was very kind and asked plenty of questions, provided input. I didn't feel like just a number and liked that she provided me with her business card. It would be nice if she had her own practice but at the same time, the ER is lucky to have her.

Not often do you get several chances to speak with an ER doctor. Dr. Hernandez was very professional, thorough and caring. Because of her I will visit the Hackensack Hospital ER again. Nurses and staff were also of the same quality.
