List of Roy Vingan's Reviews
My mother was a patient of Dr. Vingan. He recommended spinal fusion as the only reasonable solution - which we did not do right away, hoping to avoid surgery. After exhausting other options we came back for surgery. He was extremely patient and understanding with our fears and anxiety before the surgery, clearly explained what to expect and what not to expect. He did an excellent job and we could not have been happier with the choice of doctors. His office staff was very helpful in the post-surgery care.
I have been seeing Dr Vingan for weeks been through examination they sent me for various cat scans, MRI,s Showed me results explained the urgency for the Surgery I need due to disks pushing into the spinal cord causing debilitating pain in my arms, shoulders, hips, legs. With chronic pain throughout my body. After weeks and weeks of examination my family and I was thrilled to hear I would have surgery and possibly have some relief from this chronic condition in time for the Holidays. And also stopping any chance of paralyzation by removing the disk from the spinal cord. ****** only to receive a phone call Months & weeks after my initial visit informing me that they do not accept my insurance ********* Now I need to try and start over from scratch…..I can not give an medical surgical organization any stars for putting me at risk for permanent damage…….thanks for nothing……
Highly incompetent staff that didn't know how to use a computer! I had an appt to get an evaluation of my MRI, the results I had with me including the CD's of the images. They tried both my copies told me they were unreadable. I told them BS, so the Dr couldn't see me. I was in severe pain and didn't have time for this nonsense which turned out to be true since I took the disks home and plugged them into my computer, and when I did PRESTO! They worked just fine with all the necessary images showing perfectly. Dr Vingan himself may be OK, but his staff remains a lot to be seen!
Making the appointment was difficult because the woman on the phone was not understanding of my situation but managed to get me in. When the day of my appoinment came, the bad experience continued. I was next to see the doctor, 45 minutes after my 3:30pm appointment. If I waited any longer I would have been late for work. Got my money back and left with no apologies from the staff. I will never return to this office.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Vingan since September 2016. She came with extreme back pain which started over 15 years ago but has worsened over the past year. She had an epidural with another pain management doctor which left her in more pain than she originally had. Every doctor is not the same at doing these procedures. We went to see Dr. Vingan desperate for some pain relief. When I think of words to describe him they are, Highly Trained, Amazing, Passionate, Caring, Thourough.
In 2016 I was referred to Dr Roth at the North Jersey Brain and Spine Center by the HUMC Emergency room Doctor I was told he would be able to daiginos the burning pain in my arm and hands. I made the appointment and because i did not have the proper insurance. Doctor Roth said he could not see me as a patient. he asked the pain doctor to take a look at my hand. she gave me a pack of pills to take for pain. Dr Roth gave me a presciption for a MRI and X-rays. I had the MRI done and X-rays. I did not here from the office about the results. After seeing several doctor and i did not get any answers about the pain in my hands. After one year 2017 I had the proper insurance to be a patient at the North Jersey Brain and Spine center. I made the appointment and saw DR. Vingan. Doctors Vingan saw me and ordered the MRI to tell me he did not know why my hands where in pain. he referred me to a pain doctor. I began to cry while saying i had to live with this pain for the rest of my life. I was crying because i had absolute confidence that i would get a answer by one of the doctor at the North Jersey Brain and spine center. I want apologies for my behavior and thank you for seeing me as a patient. I went back to my pain doctor . He found the answer to the burning pain in my hands, I have Stage 2 Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. In 2016 after one year 2017. If CRPS caught in time it could have been reverse.
I would highly recommend Dr Vingan, for anyone considering spinal surgery. His professionalism, thoroughness, knowledge and bedside manner were outstanding. He made me feel very comfortable through the entire process of my double spinal fusion.
Dr. Vingan is a consummate professional. An excellent physician and surgeon. He spends as much time as needed to fully explain procedures, test results, etc. I would recommend him highly. HIs staff is professional and courteous as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
