I hesitate to use the term "Doctor" when referring to Salah Mesad. I have epilepsy and under Mr. Mesad's care my condition worsened and my life became more difficult. Mesad insisted on trying the generic brand of Keppra XR, a medication that I've been on for over 10 years with success,(for insurance purposes). However, he failed to prescribe the extended release version of the generic medication and it resulted in me having a seizure. Mr. Mesad scolded me for not capturing the seizure on the EEG despite it being after the 72 hour examination window. He reported my seizure to the DMV despite prescribing medication that was not only incorrect but it was known to be ineffective. His staff and their incompetence were unable to perform simple, standard, administrative office duties to supply the DMV with proper paperwork to maintain my license. They also were not responsive to my requests to refill a prescription. I've dealt with my epilepsy for over a decade now and have been under the care of many doctors over that time and nothing parallels the unprofessionalism, arrogance and overall incompetence displayed by Mr. Mesad. In short, I've had nightmares that were more pleasant than my experience with Mr. Mesad and his crusade of half brained, talentless staffers.

Went to him for a while, he didn’t do much to help my epilepsy. Same medications weren’t working didn’t have any openness to try anything new. New doctor I had two surgeries and new medications so I know this wasn’t imaginary as the tests with him showed activity.

I have had Epilepsy since age 18. I am 45 now. And it took this long to find a doctor who does not make me wait all day or give me unnecessary tests or experimental drugs. Today, I am seizure free for 1 year.

Dr. Masad is an excelente Neourologist. He is beren helping me for the past 13 years with my seizures. I will not change him for any other doctor. Thanks to him I am alive... Thank you so much Dr. Masad

Asked a number of questions that did not pertain to my child"s seizure disorder. I have no idea where he was coming from. It was quite uncomfortable. I think he is the one he needs to be "examined".

He is a Great Neurologist. He asked me questions that was never asked by others before and got testing done as soon as it was needed. I'm sad to have moved so far away from a great doctor.
