I’ve worked with Dr Nadkarni for over a decade, and he got to the bottom of a complex constellation of symptoms involving my epilepsy, severe ADHD, complex trauma, and depression. He has the warmest, most empathetic disposition of any physician I’ve met; a co-collaborator instead of that outdated, paternalist medical model.

To the individual who believes Siddhartha Nadkarni is impaired: Contact the Office of Professional Medical Conduct with the NY State Health Dept immediately and speak to Paula Breen. They are well aware of the problems with him. Also call Annette Johnson and Lynn lowy in the Legal dept at NYU. They are also well aware of the serious issues. He has had numerous investigations opened and has been disciplined in the past for improper and unlawful care . He appeared to be impaired previously. His conduct was not only unlawful, but unconscionable. He's a very sick individual.

Dr. Nadkarni has been treating my daughter for over 12 years, and after seeing dozens of medical professionals, he was the one who properly diagnosed her and found the correct medication to help her. But most of all, he was wonderful in dealing with her, and he made her, and our whole family, feel heard and seen.

Dr. Nadkarni is THE BEST NEUROLOGIST I'VE EVER SEEN AND I'VE BEEN SEEING NEUROLOGISTS SINCE 1991. I STARTED SEEING HIM IN 2005, FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND HE IS SO HELPFUL WITH PLENTY OF PATIENCE TO HELP EVERYONE. HE EXTREMELY PAYS ATTENTION TO YOU SO MUCH THAT I WAS SEIZURE FREE FROM 2005-2011. I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO MY NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH HIM. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY SEEING HIM, YOU ARE WITH THE BEST NEUROLOGIST!!!

Incompetence that verges on dangerous. This physician is clearly impaired.

The "care" provided by Siddhartha Nadkarni was so poor and did not conform with appropriate, acceptable or lawful standards of care in accordance with State and Federal law which led to two formal investigations initiated by the NY State Health Dept OPMC. (Office of Professional Medical Conduct.) This also included illegal prescription practices. Additionally, due to his unethical, immoral and retaliatory conduct, which also included spoliation of my medical record, I was also forced to have to contact law enforcement due to being stalked and physically threatened for appropriately contacting the authorities and providing information. In addition to the two Health Dept investigations initiated an additional investigation was initiated by the Insurance Commissioner of NY for Financial Fraud and Unlawful Billing practices. The financial fraud was also investigated and verified by fraud investigators in the AG's office who referred the matter to the NY State Insurance Commissioner after having two fraud investigators review the information provided by an attorney, United health care also initiated their own investigation and pulled back monies for his fraud and improper billing practices (which included double and even triple billing for services already paid in full at time of service as required by their office). This often included charges for services never rendered. And the fact that he was not a participating provider! Siddhartha Nadkarni was routinely extremely late for scheduled appointments and unapologetic. He was impossible to reach for months on end or receive returned calls regarding extremely important medical matters. Additionally, the inability to rely or reach him for routine medication refills was extremely serious and problematic. He could not be relied upon to ensure prescriptions were written in a timely manner or contact the insurance company (a routine responsibility of all doctors) to ensure that meds were approved and that I was not left without critically important medication which happened often for long periods of time. Beyond failing to spend even the minimal amount of time required by law with a patient, Siddhartha Nadkarni also failed to maintain a proper medical record, also required by law. He even fabricated lies, providing NO PROOF WHATSOEVER, which he inserted in my chart after he was alerted by the Health Dept that he was under investigation in an effort to try to discredit me, and cover up his unlawful activity. Information that in addition to being demonstrably false, defamatory, and malicious, contradicted all previous descriptions of me. I also had irrefutable proof that was independently verifiable. In my experience as well as others, he is dishonest, incompetent, ineffective, retaliatory and vindictive. You would be well advised to Stay Away from him under any circumstances if you value your health and safety! He is dangerous.

I’ve been a patient of his for about seven years. He’s very good professionally and to talk with him it’s obvious that he is empathetic. He understands he listens and he lets you know that he understands you. I like him very much.

Siddhartha Nadkarni is an incompetent and dangerous person. He has had multiple State investigations opened by the Health Dept for serious violations of State and Federal law. He has also had a criminal investigation opened by the Insurance Commissioner for financial fraud, in addition to monies pulled back by the insurance company for double billing and upcoding (billing for services never rendered). More disturbing, he engaged in malicious, frightening and dangerous retaliation campaign when information was provided to the authorities regarding his substandard and unlawful conduct and care.

Dr. Nadkarni has been caring for me for over 10 years. He is an excellent, thorough practitioner and a supportive physician and just a wonderful person. He has always clearly explained options, test, and medications and I have trusted his recommendations 100%. And I felt heard and considered and was always an equal in decisions. Additionally, he not only was supportive of me throughout many years of treatment, but was an incredible support to my family while I was not well. I can't recommend him highly enough!

I have seen Doctor Nadkarni for over 10 years and find him to be an excellent physician and thorough practitioner. He is caring and knowledgeable and persistent with trying various suggestions to find out what works. He not only made me feel cared for over the years but was supportive and encouraging to my family during challenging times. I never felt rushed and definitely feel heard and trust his recommendations 100%. He is one of the best doctors around!
