Let me begin with saying that doctors, nurses and other staff at Hackensack Meridian Health are amazing people, they offer really good hospitality and are people who know how to do their job.I would like to especially thank Dr. Lee-Kong. He performed surgery on my father, as him being able to do everything as he used to after he had it it, and overall to feel great is beyond awesome. Trust the people at Hackensack Meridian because they truly are great!

I had a problem with Rectal Prolapse, Dr Steven A. Lee- Kong did. surgery on 1/20/2022 !!! It was amazing: I went home the same day, after 4 days all wounds were healed / he left up and fix my rectum/ colon - for do not go out any more…. He like a Jeweler in Surgeon Field- I’m so happy to meet a Real Excellent Doctor and a Kind, Caring Person!!! Thank You, Doctor Lee- Kong

I highly recommend Dr. Lee-Kong. He is an outstanding surgeon and a very kind and compassionate person. He performed two major surgeries on me five months apart. Both went smoothly and my recovery from each one was better than I expected. I am 84 years old. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Lee-Kong for his knowledge and skill and I have the utmost confidence in his medical judgment. I feel fortunate that I found Dr. Lee-Kong and that I entrusted the surgical management of my condition to him.

Dr. Lee-Kong took care of our 17 old. Our teen had a rare condition so our choice was to use a pediatric surgeon who might have done 2 or 3 of these surgeries in their lifetime, or use a regular colorectal surgeon who had probably done a ton of these surgeries. We opted for Dr. Lee-Kong as although he suspected our child would ultimately need the surgery, he suggested we try biofeedback therapy to see if we could avoid putting him through it - every other surgeon pushed for surgery immediately. Ultimately our child did need the surgery and it was an invasive procedure that took him a while to recover from, but at least we felt like we explored every avenue before putting him through it. Dr. Lee-Kong is kind and compassionate, has a great sense of humor, and was great at explaining everything so we felt very at ease. I felt like we were in good hands throughout and highly recommend him and his team.
