Yaakov Abdelhak Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Yaakov Abdelhak during my 3 pregnancies for over 7 years, he is a wonderful doctor, very experienced, knowledgeable and truly caring. He never rushes and always listens to every concern, and answers all questions accordingly. I always get the feeling of being in trusted hands. We live nearby St. Barnabas hospital but still travel about 40 minutes to his office in Hackensack, NJ. All the other doctors at his office are great as well and have wonderful bedside manner. There are many good reasons Dr. Abdelhak and his office are a blessing, the most outstanding of them is the ability to have blood work, ultrasound, fetal anatomy and much more, all done at one location. His staff is efficient and quite organized, they all work well in harmony to facilitate a smooth experience. The best c section ever. I was terrified and he did a great job. 5 years later I barely have a scar, healed nicely, and now having another baby moved to the west coast and all doctor is complement on this work! Truly professional- had him through my midwife Kristin Mallon. He is fantastic. After care was truly phenomenal. I’m plus size and he made me feel Comfortable and I healed so nicely!! Dr Abdelhak was a godsend angel to me. I went to two different doctors who refused to even try for a VBAC as my first was a c section. I came to doctor abdelhak late in my pregnancy around 28 weeks and I am so glad I decided to switch even if it was later in the pregnancy. All office and staff is amazing and the doctors are beyond amazing. So professional and take your time to listen. My last two doctor I didn’t even meet the doctors most of the time only nurse practitioner but here I met the doctors themselves during most of my appointments. Dr abdelhak and Ratzersdorfer delivered my baby but doctor abdelhak was the main doctor. He did everything in his power to make sure I have a Vbac and I did. I think any other doctor would have given up and pushed me for c section. Even one of the doctor from his practice to came to see me while I was in labor said you probably won’t have a normal delivery. But then dr abdelhak came and saved me. I will forever be thankful to him and will never forget this man. I delivered during the pandemic when I had no help and normal delivery made it so much better for me. Dr. Abdelhak and his entire team is amazing! I was referred to the practice because I was looking to have a VBAC after a previous csection. This was honestly the best decision I could have made. Dr. Abdelhak is an incredible doctor - every visit I felt comfortable, informed and his great sense of humor kept visits very lighthearted and calm. If you are looking for a labor coach - Raizy from the office is wonderful. She was with us from the moment we got to the hospital to when my baby was born. She guided us on exactly what will happen throughout delivery, helped ease the pain of contractions and just kept me so calm throughout the entire process. I'm so grateful to Dr. Abdelhak and Raizy for helping me have a VBAC and being so supportive throughout my entire pregnancy. Dr. Abdelhak and his entire team is amazing! Going to Integrative Obstetrics has been a great experience for my 2nd baby. The practice is very personal and is always there for any questions. As my first delivery at the age of 37 was via an emergency c-Section, I wanted to learn more about VBACs for my 2nd delivery at 40 years old. If you are interested in trying for a VBAC this is definitely the practice to go to. They are very experienced with VBACs. They did a great job of explaining the process as I went through the pregnancy, and when it came to the delivery, Dr. Abdelhak was there the entire time I was in labor and helped walk me through each step. I also had their labor coach Raizy Green help me with the delivery. She is incredible, so supportive and helped me throughout the delivery. Having her by my side gave me more confidence. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Abdelhak, Raizy and the rest of the team at Integrative Obstetrics and highly recommend them as an OB practice. Doctor Abdelhak was incredible throughout the duration of my pregnancy. He made sure my high-risk twin pregnancy went as smoothly as possible. His sense of humor and expertise always left me feeling very at ease. I will absolutely be going to him for all future pregnancies!

Dr. Abdelhak and the entire Integrative Obstetrics staff is amazing. They made me feel at ease about having my first baby. They’re honest and helpful along the whole process from our first appointment through delivery. They answered all my questions and helped put my mind at ease (as opposed to googling around for an answer and stressing). Throughout the process I (along with my baby) felt cared for. We also had Raizy to be our Doula and she was particularly amazing on the day of delivery. She was with us in the labor and delivery room the whole time and we couldn’t imagine going through that process without her care. Dr. Abdelhak and the entire Integrative Obstetrics staff is amazing. Dr. Abdelhak has truly been wonderful. I had to switch to a different practice due to insurance reasons and now I know why I choose him over the others. I've only had wonderful experiences with Dr. Abdelhak and he does everything he can to assist a successful VBAC over a c-section, when most other doctors wouldn't even try. Or they say they'll try but when you get to the hospital they don't keep to it. Which happened when I had to switch to another practice. I would only recommend Dr. Abdelhak for a high-risk pregnancy.

HE'S THE ONE ! There is no one else I trust more with my pregnancy or my birthing experience. Dr. Abdelhak goes above and beyond for his patients. He not only listens but does everything he can to accommodate all your wants and needs without compromising you or your baby- to- be's safety. Having his patients best interests at heart and ensuring that you are provided with the best birthing experience possible, makes him a rarity in the world of medicine. I would travel across the country to have this man deliver all of my children. Having seen numerous gynecologists, I can confidently say you set the bar and I cannot thank you enough for everything that you did for me and Haydn. HE'S THE ONE !
