On June 9th I went in for same day surgery and woke up in ICU. I was refered to Dr. Asulin by my primary car OBGYN Dr Alizade to have a hysterectomy, fibroid and cyst removal. This was for robotic surgery. In Trusting my OBGYN I followed his directions and met with Dr. Asulin and scheduled the surgery with him. I spoke with my primary who assured me he would be in the operating room and he would speak with Dr. Asulin. The day of surgery I get there at 6am and wake up per my mother after 9pm in ICU. On Friday the next day, this doctor stops by and show me a picture of a bucket of what he pulled out of me but nothing about what happened. I get home and find out my OBGYN was never there, he was never called by Dr. Asulin, My 2 week checkup. I am sitting in his office w/ internal stitches, Stables and robotic glue and stitches for an hour in pain. I couldn't take sitting any longer and advised I had to leave. The staff is wonderful and very helpful, he performed a great surgery for my elderly mother, however his bedside manner is less than desirable. My mother waited patiently all day to be discharged the day after her surgery only to be told that he wouldn't be there to discharge her until after his normal office hours. Had we been informed from the beginning, and that expectation was managed, we wouldn't have grown so impatient and would have planned the day better. Over 12 hours of waiting, just to get any word until I called the office and waited on hold for 30 minutes to speak to him. Communication from you doctor is key, this was not done to our standards. We should have known as lead up to the surgery communication was already a major issue. The doctor is amazing. Nice, caring and knowledgeable but the staff is HORRIBLE. They always send the wrong codes to my insurance. I keep getting bills because they send bloodwork all kinds of exams to out of network labs. The office has no manager and no one responsible for the billing. I like Dr Asulin but the staff is unpleasant.

Exceptional professionalism and honesty. Dr. Asulin made me feel very comfortable and at ease but most importantly his expertise exceeded all my expectations. The best!

Dr. Asulin was God sent to me. After over 20 years of sufferring terrible, debilating menstruation cramps, hoing through IVF to have my children, being ignore by all OBGYN’s I went to, Dr. Asulin took my case seriously, sat down and let me speak for as long as it took, and then he spoke. He is kind, compassionate, intelligent and down to earth. I am 3 weeks post-op of my robotic hysterectomy and I can’t be happier. I had a very complex case from what he said, but his surgical skills are impressive. Please to all women reading, do not think you are crazy, or that your symptoms should be “normalized”!!!! I am forever grateful to Dr. Asulin and look forward to many more years of him as my doctor. Women do not be scared to speak up, and ask for different opinions. Thank you Dr. Asulin!

Dr es muy respetuoso y amigable, escucha los paciente y se preocupa . Yo no podía tener hijos y gracias a él pude. Mas todas las operaciones que he tendido el me ayudado. Su equipo es bien atentó con todo. Lo recomiendo mucho. Es muy experto en lo que hace.

Dr. Asulin was an excellent doctor. He preformed a major surgery on me and was professional , he healed me. He preformed the surgery at Holly Name in Teaneck and I couldn't recommend both the doctor and the hospital enough. He opened up his heart and healed me from months of pain. Don't think twice when searching for a specialty doctor.

Find a doctor who truly believes in the hippocratic oath for his patients , and not just to line his own pocket. He had me come numerous times to his office with tests and assurances only to up his bill. This is a doctor who is deceitful and smiles while he tells you only half truths, so you will do the surgery with him. Decent doctor. Should absolutely work on explaining what is expected during recovery more thoroughly instead of telling patients “everything will be fine, don’t worry”. Also, a majority of his office staff needs a permanent vacation. Wanting to see the doctor for possible post op complications should mean accommodating an appointment, not being rude over the phone. Kinder, more qualified individuals should be brought in.

The doctor is great!!! The staff needs more training honestly!!
