List of Srinivas J Madane's Reviews
I went dr madane with a disgusting ailment and he examined me and very kindly told me to eat yogurt once a day. It's been a week now and my condition has improved. Very knowledgeable doctor. My experience was very satisfactory and so was the dealing with his office staff! Job well done, Thanks!
I am very happy to have found Dr. Madane. He is caring, knowledgable, and communicates well. I had no trouble making an appointment, and his staff is professional and friendly.
Doctor was very dismissive and almost condescending. He was very eager to preform outpatient procedures colonoscopy and endoscopy, which I had done. Office staff never sent me records even after requesting them twice. Ultimately I received the same advice as my general practitioner, definitely better off someplace else
My mother was dealing with a concerning issue for a while and was assessed by Dr. Madane. All he did after running tests was tell her the name of a condition she’s never heard of, and told her to LOOK IT UP ON WEB MD. This is just appalling. As someone who works in the medical field I was totally shocked and disappointed to hear that. My mom, nervous about her condition and hoping for answers, deserves much better than basically being told to google something. I sincerely hope she does not return.
After hearing how my fiancé was treated during his first visit, I am absolutely appalled at how a doctor could treat a patient so poorly. No one should be judged or treated as if their care shouldn’t be taken seriously for not having insurance. Bedside manner is key in the medical field and if you can’t treat someone with that care then why be a doctor? Business will be taken elsewhere.
Dr. Madane is a very competent Physician. He has a quiet but sincere manner. He is a great listener and helped me with a problem that had appeared most difficult. I heartily recommend him for he makes himself available, doesn't rush one out of the office. has a great knowledge of his subject and an excellent ability to get to the problem and seek to solve it. I heartily recommend him.
Makes you wait 3 weeks before he gives you any results or treatment plans after endoscopes or colonoscopies, regardless of how you feel or your ailment. He may or may not be there when you wake up from your procedure or make the nurse give you results because he's long gone. Again with NO treatment plan so you suffer with until you can see him in his office weeks later. This is not putting the patient first.
Very good wonderful doc in town Consideration care patients Expert job smart and Sharp Highly recommended !!!!!!
I would like to say that Dr. Madane is an expert but sadly I never got the chance to properly interact with him as a treating physician. His office staff are fear mongers. The endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures are done at Hackettstown Medical Center. You have to arrange for a COVID test prior to procedure but they do not disclose that they demand--yes, demand--you quarantine for 3 days prior to procedure! I'd be expected to use 6 sick days just for quarantine! This is not possible. What made it worse is that they demanded the quarantine as being state law--which I knew was a flat out LIE. My mother had stents put in in June without having to quarantine and that was through St Lukes in Phillipsburg. I promptly called St Lukes in Phillipsburg and flat out asked them if it was state law to quarantine before an endoscopy and colonoscopy and they said NO. I would only be required to test for COVID. And so, I will make the drive now to Phillipsburg for medical treatment instead of the 15 minutes in town.
I imagine job can be stressful at times having to share bad news to patients. Dr Madane seems to carry this burden. Not easy for anyone. However, he has a sharp sense of humor and you have to get to know him well to understand him, ...I guess. His staff is upbeat and kind and that is how you can tell he is a good Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
