Quite possibly the worst practice ever. Dr. Kessel is rude and dismissive. Front desk staff do not document communication in the chart, so no one ever seems to fully know what is going on - 2 calls to the office from Children's Hospital were not documented nor returned. Appointments are canceled without notice. Lab results routinely take 2 or more weeks to come back. Just 2 days after being seen the first time by Dr. Kessel my 7 yo was hospitalized and put on IV antibiotics and pain medicine. His knees were so blistered he could barely walk at the first appointment but Dr. Kessel sent us home saying the situation was mild compared to what he had seen in other children. His lack of patient care caused my young son indescribable amounts of pain, for what we were later told was an "easily diagnosable common childhood rash" that could have been treated at home if diagnosed correctly. Unless you want to be condescended to, dismissed, or misdiagnosed, run far away from Dr. Kessel's office.
Quite possibly the worst practice ever. Dr. Kessel is rude and arrogant and does not listen to the APNs in the office, let alone his patients. Bad experience. They are seeing cancer patients only. Failed to let other patients know such until you get to the office . Therefore not able to get treated n had my time wasted. WILL NOT RECOMMED THIS PLACE AT ALL.
Jen waa amazing!
I recently visited Dr. Kessel's office for two treatments, one for an overall skin check as I hadn't had one in a while, and second to try out their cosmetic services for lip injections. I can't say enough good things about this office and the team. They are kind, courteous, and professional. I was quickly seen for my first appointment with Savy Guthrie, MPAS, PA-C, for my lip injections. She carefully explained every detail of what my options were, how I would feel before, during and after. Made me feel very at ease. I chose the extra numbing route to avoid any pain and the injections were flawless and pain free! I'm so so happy with the results. Throughout the process I was a little nervous but the nursing support staff was outstanding in providing care all the way through; all the little things help like a cup of water and laying me down if needed. When finished, I was taken over to my next appointment for my skin check. Efrain Morales MSN, APN, FNP-BC, along with his support nurse were able to explain how the check would be done and allowed me to discuss any concerns that I had. On the spot they were able to take care of a small pre-cancerous mark on my forehead to prevent any further issues. He and the staff were so kind and helpful.I will go back to Kessel Dermatology for all of my needs both for skin care and cosmetic needs - they take the best care!!!
I have see Dr. Kessel for many years, over twenty years on and off. He remains the same caring, professional and accessible with rapid appointments. He is a doctor to all people ; teenagers and adults. I am very grateful. During COVID-19, he was one of the first physician who made sure his office was safe by investing in good ventilation for the office. I recomend Dr. Kessel because he is caring and does not gives you bogus appointments nor charges you for unnecessarily. He really cares. His leadership in healthcare is also seen through his staff. Thank you!
I got a same day appointment and they were very professional.
Have been going to this practice for years and always a good result. Very knowledgeable staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
