The doctor takes his time with you reviews all your history, he has a complete examination and is very personable.

Dr. Desai and his CyberKnife team at St. Peter's Hospital did a really good job treating my prostate cancer, and without complications. My psa has gone from 4 to 1 in six months. I highly recommend Dr. Desai and his group.

Dr Gopal Desai combines professionalism and personable approach in his treatment. He understands that the state of mind of the patient plays a significant role in recovery and therefore a healthy balance is very important. Treatment procedure is so coherent and his follow-up is very professional as a result it's easily translated to his subordinates-- makes for a healthy synergy. I can't believe I went through 44 sessions, it was an awesome experience. More grease to your elbow Doc.

I first met Dr. Desai in 2017 at a seminar offered by Saint Peters University Hospital. I was impressed with the degree of research and the thoroughness of the presentation. I found that he and his staff are dedicated to you understanding procedures and go the extra length to assure that you are comfortable and at ease. The entire staff from the receptionist to the nurse staff are excellent in their roles. All questions are answered in detail and you feel you fully understand everything you asked and discussed. A great experience.

Dr. Desai is very personable and takes excellent care of me. He takes the time to get to know me and suggests what would be the best for my needs and concerns. He communicates with my other doctors to assure that he knows what they have learned about me and to obtain their input on my issues.

Dr Desai & his staff are all friendly & helpful. If the nurse isn’t sure of an answer to my question she will take the time to check with the dr. Dr Desai is caring & tries to be positive with a sense of humor in a difficult situation. He does need to watch more cartoons though lol

About a week ago today I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Gopal Desai. I was advised that I would receive paperwork in the mail prior to my appointment date. Due to the fact I received no paperwork I thought I would go early to fill out the medical forms which are typical to every new patient. As I was leaving for the doctor's office I received a telephone call from my regular practitioner inquiring why Dr. Desai's was requesting blood work which was performed in her office. I went on to my appointment and signed in. I was never greeted nor asked to fill out any paperwork. I waited until a little after my appointment time passed I knocked on the window and addressed the receptionist. If this is the way this office handles any patient I want no part of it! Thanks for wasting my time.

My 1st encounter with Dr. Desai in 2015 when I was referred to him for treatment. He and all of the staff at St. Peter's were efficient and professional, friendly, caring, compassionate and helpful, from the receptionist to all of the technicians, nurses & other staff. They made the difference throughout my treatments. I am thankful for them all. Dr. Desai has a terrific bedside manner as well as being, caring, patient, and personable and he laughs at my jokes. 6 stars..******

I am so happy I was referred to Dr. Desai at St. Peter's Cancer Center. Dr. Desai and his entire staff are so caring and wonderful. I would recommend him 100%!!
