First person you interact with is Doris and she does her job awesome being one receptionist and handling everything. Doris always goes above and beyond to get answers for you or a message to Dr G.. Thank you for being so patient and helpful….
Ive been very anxious to finally see a doctor and preparing myself up until the appt time . I didn’t realize I forgot my wallet out of all days which yes i take full responsibility for not having it with me however the person at the front desk was very ignorant. I explained to her i forgot my ID but I have pictures of them (clear pictures) and if it was possible if I can email it to her and she cut me off and said I don’t know who forgets their ID as a new PT and we’re going to reschedule. I then asked if i can go print them out and come back and she said well then you’re going to be late to your appt. I then asked her if i can upload the pictures to mychart and she said well yeah since their being uploaded by you and not me. what’s the logic behind that? She could of easily sdvised me to upload the picture on mychart since they were on my phone rather than cancelling my appt and rescheduling me. Im so upset and this was such a bad first experience with this office.
I used to be a patient, as well as my family members, when Mary was the PA and then Heather. Both of these women were outstanding health care providers. Now that they have left Dr. Guarino's practice, the level of customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. Most times, I wonder if he is actually still practicing. It is difficult to get an appointment, difficult to get in touch with him, and overall just inconvenient. My daughter needed to have her immunization record signed in order to provide it to her new university and they would not do so without an appointment. I explained that we are no longer patients there and this is one of the reasons why. They also do not keep adequate records. My daughter received immunizations that they have no record of and she was also seen in the office on a particular date and there seems to be no record of that either. Unfortunately, it seems to be all about the money. At least that is the impression this office gives, because I don't feel that they care at all about their patients. Do not look to this office if you are looking for a primary care doctor!

I called Friday around 11 am for a Rx for an antibiotic. Spoke with Ayisha. She said if it wasn’t Fri, then it would be Sat. Nothing both days so I called back today (Monday) and spoke with same girl who said oh well let’s hope he does it today. Hope??? How hard is it? Still nothing even called in to my pharmacy at 5pm. I find that the dr’s office has no problem reporting every phone call in to RWJB as a visit and are prob getting paid like it was a tele-appt but nothing was actually done. I going out of town tomorrow. Thanks for making me feel completely disregarded. With a 3 star rating I’m guessing I’m not the only one. Which is a sad bc Doris really does a fantastic job. She’s personable, professional and very efficient. So I don’t know if it’s a new person working there or what but this isn’t the kind of care I’m used to or happy with. Update: my Rx is now filled at 7pm when my pharmacy is closed. 🙄 What a freakin hassle.
Worst doctor I have ever been to. I don't think they know how to answer telephones anymore.
I called for the first time and the office opened LATE. I spoke to a feisty, rude girl who asked the stupidest questions of someone who has never had treatments. This girl caused Dr. Guarino not only to loose business of a new customer but I have persuaded 4 of my friends NOT to make their appointments there. This young lady needs to learn the business of customer service and she over talks the new patient. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH THIS PERSON. The date is 6/12/19. I told her that I was born in “52” she asks, “is that 1952.” DUHHH?
He got rid of his excellent staff and when I called in for and appointment I was told to go to urgent care . I ask for a script instead and he prescribed me a new med with diarrhea weeks to month's later as a side effect . I will be looking for a new family practice .
I can't get an appointment there anymore, as nonone ever seems to answer the phone. I've even stopped at the office a few times to make an appointment in person, they seem to open late and close early. Is this even a viable business?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
