Dr. Courtney did a reconstruction on a previous knee replacement by a different surgeon of 22 years ago. I was nervous but he calmed my fears by listening to my concerns and explaining in detail the entire procedure. The surgery was a complete success and I was up and around almost immediately. My recovery was swift with minimum pain and no issues. I will certainly see him again when my other knee requires reconstruction in the future. I cannot praise him enough!

Dr. Courtney is a great doctor in that he takes time to explain everything and has a very reassuring presence. My mother-in-law had extensive hip repair surgery with Dr. Courtney and he was excellent.

Dr. Courtney found my pain was due to the metal ball disintegrating. He replaced the metal with a ceramic one. He then found he had to replace the lid as that was destroyed by the metal. I have had very little pain Dr. Courtney is very caring and compassionate. He is the surgeon if you need a hip revision.

Dr. Courtney was very concerned about my health issues and doing surgery. He recommended going downtown to Jefferson Hospital in case complications occur. Explained surgery so I could understand .
