I met Dr. Lala 13 years ago when I was diagnosed with a melanoma. He is a very competent surgeon. He eased all my fears and concerns both before, during and after my surgery. Recently I had to have a couple minor surgeries done to remove some small lumps. Dr. Lala gets a 10 star rating in my book!! Both Dr. Lala and Karen are the best!!!

This doctor is past his "shelf life" date. He rushed in late to the operating room for my upper eyelid surgery and I think it affected how he operated on me. It was a sloppy job which left me with ugly scars on my eyelids (after he told me the face didn't scar). I also developed a small lump under one eyelid which he could not explain (and of course didn't want to be blamed for). I had to go into New York to a real plastic surgeon with the expense and trouble of having it all redone, including removing as much of the scarring as was possible. I am giving him one star only because I'm grateful he didn't scar me for life, or cause blindness in my eyes. ps. Don't know if he has the same receptionist, but she was very unpleasant to deal with. I just wish I had the money back I spent for the botched surgery.
