BEST OF THE BEST!! DR.SELENE PAREKH HAS THE MOST AMAZING BED SIDE MANNERS AND PROFESSIONALISM.I WAS A ELITE RUNNER 3RD PLACE ON MY AGE GROUP IN NEW JERSEY STATE, IN SEPTEMBER 2022.I EXPERIENCED AN INCREDIBLE SHARP PAIN UNDER MY LEFT FOOT WHILE GETTING UP FROM MY CHAIR AT WORK IN NEW YORK CITY AFTER 2 VISITS TO MY FORMER SPORT ORTHOPEDIC HE DIAGNOSED ME WITH AVASCULAR NECROSIS OF MY LEFT TALUS BONE.MY ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR STATED THAT I WOULD EVENTUALLY LOOSE MY FOOT.THEN I PROCEEDED TO GET SEVERAL OTHER OPINIONS (4) TO BE EXACT FROM NYU-LANGONE HEALTH, NY PRESBYTERIAN SPECIAL SURGERY AND HSS IN NY, AND (2) OTHER DOCTORS IN NEW JERSEY.THEY ALL CAME TO THE CONCLUSION OPTION (1) AMPUTATION OR FUSION OF MY FOOT. THIS WAS NOT THE OPTION I WAS HOPING FOR.I STARTED DOING INTENSIVE SEARCH I CAME UPON A COMPANY (PARAGON 21) AND I PROCEEDED TO REACH OUT TO THEM EXPLAINING MY HEALTH SITUATION.TWO DAYS LATER THEY ADVISED ME TO REACH OUT TO DR.PAREK AT ROTHMAN ORTHOPEDICS.AND HE DID IT!!

Dr. Parekh is one of the most caring doctors my husband and I have encountered. We first saw him when he was at Duke. We traveled from another state so that he could correct a botched surgery another doctor had done on my husband’s foot. Dr. Parekh took time to reassure us, explain everything, and has personally returned phone calls. The surgery was a success, and we have traveled to Pennsylvania for surgery on the other foot. His staff is also very helpful.

This man ruined my life. I had a small ankle surgery that left me with no feeling in my ankle or foot. An infection and needed three surgeries to try to fix what he did (from other doctors). I have permanent loss of range of motion severe nerve damage and the fracture never healed. DO NOT trust this man to fix your foot.

If 3-4 doctors have told you that you have no option besides an amputation, you need to see Parekh.

He was rushed and indifferent. Never got back to me after surgery until I left a message that I would leave negative reviews. Go to someone else!
