A very very fine doctor. Experienced, knowledgeable, attentive. I feel lucky to call him my doctor.

I like Dr. Paul Madura, because he listens to me, and that's a plus, and an effort, I appreciate that greatly. Plus he knows his stuff, and can do it in the office, that's a Doctor! His staff is par excellent, Thank You Dr. Madura and staff, Joe D.

Our family was a part of Dr. Madura's practice for more than five years. While he's not warm, he was direct and no nonsense & we appreciated that. Early in 2014 we began to have some concerns about his demeanor & some of his choices. However they were more about his prerogative than healthcare, so we disregarded them.Recently those concerns became more serious when the health of an elderly relative who came to live with us was on the line. Madura repeatedly failed to fill prescriptions in time, leaving a diabetic without his medicine & requiring me to have him paged on more than one occasion. Most recently I brought this relative to him & told him I feared he was suffering from a re-occurrence of previously diagnosed Congestive Heart Failure. He ignored my concerns, ignored me in the exam room when I added information my relative was leaving out (due to confusion) & finally made rude comments to my relative as to his need to bother speaking with me there. He misdiagnosed him, prescribed medicine that made his condition worse and yet again failed to refill medicines needed. After more than two weeks of improper care, he finally told me "it could be congestive heart failure". This was confirmed by a Cardiologist who rushed my relative into his office & made it clear Madura's treatment had made my relative worse & that he was very surprised at Madura's failing to have prescribed diuretics several month prior, which would have likely prevented how ill he became.Not very typical for doctors to question each other so openly, but everyone involved in this case has done so. Madura put his ego in front of my relative's health. Even our pharmacist wanted to know who was in charge of this disaster.I would absolutely advise against seeing this doctor, there are too many other options & he's simply not worth the risk.

Dr. Madura practices family medicine. He takes the time needed with all his patients and with their family members to ensure that all is well. He is thoughtful and caring. He is a great diagnostician but doesn't hesitate to "phone a friend" if he thinks something is not right. He does not order un-necessary tests/procedures, but rather, thoughtfully orders what is required.

since dr. Madura practices medicine the old fashioned way, many people will have a positive outlook and Excellent medical care. No one is like him or his fabulous staff. Best doctor around.
