I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Shoman in 2020 while pregnant with my first son. I can’t imagine having a better experience during one of the most special times in life. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, easily accessible, and has such excellent bedside manner. He delivered my son who was breech through c-section and made me feel so comfortable and at ease the entire time. I knew I was in the best care. I’m currently pregnant with my second child and so happy to be under Dr. Shoman’s care once again. His staff is absolutely wonderful as well and helpful with everything and anything needed. Dr. Shoman is absolutely incredible. You get an ultrasound at every appointment and he really makes sure you feel comfortable and informed. I like that he's not a big practice where you can never see the same doctor. You will always see him and he is always available in case of emergencies.

Dr. Shoman is fantastic! Incredibly thorough and great bedside manner. He is so knowledgeable and constantly pauses to ask if I have any questions. Goes over and above to ensure the best possible care. Such peace of mind that he is my physician!

Very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything so there were no surprises when it came to surgery. Everything has gone smoothly, and I highly recommend Dr. Shoman.

Really disappointed that I waited several weeks to see Dr. Shoman and at the final moment my Appointment was cancelled because they could not provide me the level of care that was needed although they advertise on their website that they manage high risk pregnancies at his practice . Despite the misinformation, I called around to find a maternal fetal medicine doctor who could see me in conjunction with Dr. Shoman to see if he could at least provide general Obstetrics care which I was told is a possibility by the MFM doctor I scheduled an Appointment. I called the office only to be met by an unsympathetic receptionist who didn’t even attempt to provide a sensitive response. Instead she answered dryly “no, we don’t do that here” without further clarification. As a patient already experiencing high stress due to previous pregnancy anxiety it would have been nice for the staff scheduling appointments to be more empathetic. If you are a potential high risk patient please avoid this practice. No discredit to the doctor but having friendly staff is a key component to a successful OBGYN practice in my opinion.
