List of Brian C. Katz's Reviews
The most incompetent staff on the planet. I Like the Dr but won't be returning due to office staff
Dr. Katz was patient, knowledgeable, personable and answered all my questions. He was great and I would highly recommend. I trust him very much for my personal medical care.
Great friendly Doctor, gave some valuable life lessons Thank you.. He deserves 10 ⭐️⭐️.very welcoming staffs..
Seeing the negative reviews seems off to me and my aunt who both go to Dr. Katz. We both been to different gastro's and would never go back to any of them. Dr. Katz has a great personality. He takes time to ask questions and explain his recommendations. He explains what side effects some stuff can have. Some people may take it as a "threat" when its not. Its information explaining the expectations of what some foods and gastro problem will cause.
When I first arrived the office was extremely rude they were very rude towards me and also towards my husband. My husband went there out of good faith because his brother is stage four and has a life expectancy of less than two years and also his father and grandmother who both passed away last year. He went there and they were the rudest people that I ever met I would never recommend anyone to go to this place. I was extremely uncomfortable and I would never recommend you coming here definitely the worst doctor office ever
Very rude receptionist. My wife had a very bad service. They dont deserve any customers
Made an appointment 2 weeks ago and today while I’m waiting at this doctor’s office, I’m being told they no longer take my insurance. This is so unprofessional! Also the office requires patients to give them a bank card or credit card when you register before even being seen by the doctor regardless of if you have a copay or not. I have never heard of such policy in a doctor’s office. Very Disappointed!
Came to him for stomach pain, I was put on some stomach meds for acid reflux, then he immediately order a colonoscopy. That was clean. He never provided any diagnosis, so I had a CT scan which showed a slightly enlarged prostate. they received the results and stated we dont handle that. I asked what about my stomach issues, we will get back to you. 99.9% of the dialog is done through the front desk, the doctor will never follow up, his ppl skills are seriously lacking so I'am confused how he is a doctor who does not provide any advice or diagnosis.
I think Dr Katz would be more beneficial to other medical doctors; he doesn't possess the people skills to get information from patients. For me he relied completely on his experience and the limited information he got from me. He did not even consider any other diagnostic information like imaging, not even an ultrasound before stating that the undercooked pork I ate had nothing to do with the problems that immediately followed. The diet he put me on immediately helped my abdominal pain, and it may have been all I needed but he had me on standard laxatives so long (12 weeks) that I am seeking help from another doctor to recover my health. It might be a one off but I think because of my age he used the possibility of a colonoscopy almost threateningly if I didn't adhere to my diet. I would not suggest you go to Dr Katz unless you are diagnosed already.
Dr. Katz was very personable, extremely informative and very conscientious about following up after my procedure. I would highly recommend him to any one needing a GI doctor. He couldn't have been any better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
