I called Dr. Schaeffers office to schedule an appointment as a new patient, to unfortunately be turned away because I’ve had surgery in the past. I was told he doesn’t take patients whose had surgery before. My mother told me to give him a try after seeing his show. After two failed surgeries, We was hoping Dr. Schaeffer could work a miracle on my feet. I guess we’ll never know.

I'm not patient but I watched the TV show and this Doctor Brad Schaeffer inspired me confidence and very professional and capable..I have a hammer finger and I would love to go with him to treat my problem...

Had an injection in my foot (nerve sheath) about 8 months ago by a different podiatrist about 10 miles away. I left that office in tears and was in pain for 2 days. Today I was scared when Dr Schaeffer said the same shot needed to be done again. Completely different experience this go round. No tears. No pain!!! Staff are kind and friendly. I also work in medicine. Would recommend.

I first saw Dr. Schaffer’s associate and was told I have a Plantar plate tear. The office scheduled my 4 week follow up appointment with Dr. Schaffer. When Dr. Schaffer walked in he immediately started talking about surgery. He did not give me any alternatives to surgery. I was told initially to tape my two toes together, which I had been doing for 4 weeks and now come to find out, through hours of research, the way the doctor taped and instructed me to tape them, was incorrect. The toe should be taped in a cross-cross pattern to ensure the tie joint does not move. Dr. Schaffer did not offer an orthotic, a boot, or even physical therapy. I was only offered surgery. Very disappointing!

I traveled from Brooklyn to this office after seeing Dr.Schaeffer on the tv show. I must say I was disappointed, nothing particularly special about this practice. He was not trained on any of the more modern techniques for my issue. I could have gone to a podiatrist in the city and saved the trip. The low rating is for service. I fitted for custom insoles & paid upfront, months after no word from the office, I call to inquire and I was told they lost my molding and that I need to come in for another molding. 2 months later i get a call that my custom insoles are in. Which one is it.
