If you don’t enjoy being the “on call doctor” then don’t do it. When we call to talk to a doctor - it’s a bi-directional conversation. Stop thinking that you are “God”. Try to understand the patients full perspective before going on your rant. 10:40pm is not midnight. If you can’t be of service in a professional and compassionate manner, you need a lesson in life. Go get some manners first.

Dr. Vergilio explained the issues I have with a large ulcer and colon blockage. He is very caring and takes the time to discuss treatments and possible outcomes. I have the utmost appreciation for his knowledge and opinion.

I am a new patient to Dr. Vergilio, he was recommended by my surgeon. He is extremely thorough, explains things well,knowledgeable and makes me feel like my issues are important and that there is hope for solutions to my issues. The office staff is welcoming and kind also, highly recommended.

Don’t expect doctor Vergilio or his office to follow through on anything. Multiple times I would call in and ask for a script refill that I needed daily, a week in advance and it would take me 3 more phone calls and days of medication missed. The doctor comes off as confidence which unfortunately is actually arrogance. After having an abnormal procedure, he assured me would contact a surgeon and didn’t. A month later I had another follow up and still didn’t contact the surgeon. Then he went on to recommend treatments that we’ve been trying already for the past year. He didn’t even have my chart up his nurse had to interrupt him to tell him what medication he already had me on. I was truly horrified. Not apologetic at all. Said “these things happen”. They happen all the time at this office I assure you. I’ve went here a year before finding another doctor. I’ve been sick a long time and been to a lot of doctors. This guys up there for one of the least caring and lazy there is.

Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Answered all my questions thoroughly. Pleasant personality with a sense of humor. I felt comfortable which is hard to believe when you are having a medical procedure.

Dr. Vergilio is an excellent Doctor. Very caring about your over all health and thorough with regards to your gastro issues.

Dr. Vergilio is very caring, respectful, and kind. He goes above and beyond for his patients, and is easy to talk to. I needed help getting surgery scheduled with a specialist for another condition and he reached out to that surgeon to advocate for me. The nurses and office assistants who have helped me at DHC are wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Vergilio.

I have gone to Dr Vergilio for colonoscopy and GERD. I was put on medication for GERD and introduced to major changes in diet. I was able to discontinue the Nexium and have not had a recurrence of the GERD. I would ONLY trust Dr Vergilio to perform my colonoscopies because I trust and feel very comfortable with him.
