Dr Richard has decades of experience treating mental health, substance abuse and related conditions. I.waa refered to him during a bout with an illness. He has.a vast wealth of knowledge are was a life saver in my case

I have been seeing Dr. Rochford for over 10 years. He listens to my concerns and treats me as the expert of my experience which is hard to find from doctors. He is very knowledgeable about medication and has his patients best interests in mind. The only downside is his practice isn't up to date with technology so appointments (during covid times), refills, and everything is done over the phone and you have to connect to an answering service when you call.

This guy is a joke indeed. I paid in full soon after being discharged from the hospital. A year later, his office asked me to pay additional $300. I told them that it is their responsibility to submit to the insurance. They agreed to do so. Looks like they never sent to the insurance, or declined by the insurance? I have good insurance. If the insurance does not pay, why should I? A year and a half later, 36 months after discharging from the hospital, all of a sudden I got a new bill of nearly $900. It is so hard to understand the statement anyway. Clearly, now they threatened me about collection! Did they ever submit to my insurance? His office staff are lazy. Did not return my phone calls as promised. They said more than once that they would let me know after contacting my insurance…still have no clue why they kept changing my statement. A recommendation for whoever is reading, you DO NOT want this guy to call you into his office while you are in the hospital. He earns about $200 if you stay in his office for two minutes nonsense talk. He led me on by talking about playing sports with my kids and how good he is in sports that he will beat my boys. Why did he repeatedly bring up this topic? So dishonest and disgusting.

I first started seeing Dr. Rochford about 5 years ago when my GP reached his limit on psych meds. Dr. R. had my meds adjusted in two visits. I don't need counseling beyond what it takes to determine if a change is needed for my meds. As far as him remembering me - maybe he as to look at his notes before my appointment but I really don't care. I’ll admit, I am there mostly for the prescriptions and to keep my meds on track. I would recommend Dr. R. to anyone.

Yep, Dr. Rochford is quick to use his prescription pad and is very knowledgeable about meds. After two years, he finally remembers some of the details of my personal life, but not many and not always. Sadly, Marge retired (good for her, though!). I will miss her ... she was a gem.

DR ROCHFORD IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT MEDS, HOWEVER HE DOES NOT ENCOURAGE COUNSELING WHICH I FEEL WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR MY FRIEND.
