I’d give her a zero but it’s not an option. Her bedside manner is horrific. My father was a patient of hers in the ICU at Newton Hospital. She refused to provide treatment for him, deferring to other doctors, and then when my dad was on a vent, she snapped her fingers and told us that his heart could go at any moment (his heart was still healthy at the time) and she said we let nature take its course. When her protocol failed, she refused to do any kind of research on her own. My mom, siblings and I spent hours researching different covid/ARDS treatments, only to be told that they wouldn’t work and there was no hope. Her demeanor is arrogant, callus and heartless. I wouldn’t go to her if I had an infected toenail. I’d love to know how many of her covid patients make it out of the hospital alive.

Dr. Manalo has been wonderful. I had a terrible infection in my leg and she's been right there for me for all the weeks it's taken to heal. I had other complications and she didn't hesitate to order the proper tests and guide me through the ordeal. I couldn't ask for better care.
