On a high horse. Has to be called “Dr.” every time, otherwise she gets insulted, even we dealing with elderly patients just trying to make it easier to communicate. Also, when we have a close family friend that is a doctor, that we have known for 20+ years and we are on a first name basis, she was insulted that we were calling him by his first name. Seriously? Very pushy and acts like a know it all.

Beware. Dr. Mackenzie is eager to acquire patients (most are fed to her from Visiting Nurse Association, of which her group Visiting Physician Services is affiliated), but she will not actually treat them. She refers all treatment back to the patient's various specialists, this severally delays treatment, raises stress for patients and in my opinion endangers patients health. It appears she and the corporation she works for are really only interested in billing.

It appears Dr. Mackenzie and the corporation she works for are really only interested in acquiring patients so they can bill them and their insurance. There are many doctors that are truly interested in the well being of their patients, Dr. Mackenzie is not one of them.
