List of Encore Dental Of Jackson's Reviews
Dr K is awesome. I drive over an hour to see him. I have severe dental anxiety and he makes me feel very comfortable. Love this office!
Dr k and all the staff at encore jackson are so professional and helpful the way all dentists offices should be thank you guys so much
Encore dental is a great place helped me with 5 root canals and crowns. All came out a success and easy going and now I have the smile I've always wanted and teeth to show for. Best dentist in all of Ocean County!
Terrible staffReceptionist thinks she is a dentist and will not follow up on calls.Needed an antibioctic after exstaction took 3 days for the office to finally call in script.During procedure i felt like i was in a butcher shop. I was told my insurance wasnt valid and paid in full,When I got home and called my insurance i was told its been valid since 2014 and covered all procedures.I called the office to exspress my concerns they didnt seem to care ,Treated like a number instead of a patientAs I spoke with other friends I found out they had the same awful exsperience,The lack of empathy from this staff is horribleI called the corporate office And currently waiting for a feed back.Usaully I wouldnt complain but I did work in tbe dental field many years agoAnd I know the difference between professional caring staff,Rather than those who just want to wear a uniform to impress friends and family..
I just got finished with my procedure at encore dental in Jackson and I just wanted to thank Doctor Kathawala and his assistant Jenn who were absolutely amazing and so kind and patient with me. Thank you!!!!
Dr. K and his assistant Jennii are amazing I have had problems with my teeth and they are always caring friendly and professional.. Encore Dental is terrific I have been there for x rays cleanings check ups and crowns. Last visit I had a problem .They not only addressed my concern they corrected my concern. Sometimes when there is a problem You need a good Dentist and assistants to help . Appointments are easy and you can be confident you are dealing with a great place And Great people Thank you Dr. K for all you do .......
I had the worst experience of my life there.. Even my plane crash could’nt beat the pain that I endured under their care. Very irresponsible.
I have been a Patient at Encore for years and have referred friends and family to this practice because everyone is so friendly, competent and welcoming from the Dental assistants to the the hygienists to the surgeon to all the dentists BUT today it went to a whole new level of amazing!!!! Dr Frank assisted by Jenn did my root canal To say it was pleasant sounds crazy but it was They were absolutely wonderful It was so comfortable , fast and not at all unpleasant Dr Frank has a gift It’s so obvious he loves what he does and really cares Thank you!!!!!!
While most of my experiences at encore have been good not all have been great.. I have pretty extreme anxiety when it comes to dental work and alot of the damage I've done to my teeth over the years has come from thia fear and lack of power to make my self get to the dentist. I choose encore dental because I Google search lead me to their page which explained the ways the manage patients with dental anxiety and the options they have to make their patients more comfortable specifically anesthesia or light anesthesia (laughing gas) which I have had before and was very comfortable with.During my first appointment for evaluation I went over my fears and anxiety with the Doctor and explained why I choose the office and asked about the gas for future procedures and while I didn't feel confident they truly understood my concerns and request it seemed they agreed. I will note that the doctor didn't seem familiar with the website and the page regarding the information I was talking about which seemed odd.During my first appointment to have work done the Doctor told me he had to find someone to teach him how to use the gas, and that if he couldn't he wouldn't be using it which really shot my anxiety threw the roof, he eventually got it working but then told me if it got in his way he would be removing it another red flag but the procedure went on and I was comfortable threw out the process until I got the bill for 250 dollars just for the 15 mins of gas use .. while I think this is rediculous unfortunately I am willing to pay for it to be comfortable. Over that experience wasn't great but it's done and over with.My next experience was for a root canal treatment, with an Endo Dr. In my experience these doctors are more familiar with gas sedation so I felt more comfortable that was until the staff and the doctor began arguing over the doctors use of a space heater in the treatment area.. this little spat was very disturbing and honestly didn't inspire confidence or professionalism. The Doctor applied the Gas and kept asking me if I was feeling it's effects and each time I told him no I don't think it's working. now I know that the gas effects people differently but I have had the gas several times for procedures and this was the first time I felt sober as a saint and could hear feel and sense everything I raised my arms several times during the procedure to alert the doctor to this but each time he would just say try and hang in there we are nearly done. I was trying my best to remain calm but my heart was racing I was truly a wreck at this point. When the procedure was finished they slapped the bill Infront of me and I asked to speak to the manager cause I felt that it was wrong fore to have to pay for gas that was not administered rate and for the fact that the service they described on there website as away of comfortably treating patients with anxiety is not what I received.I told the head office doc all of this how I alerted the staff several times that the gas was not working properly and that I was still completely lucid and uncomfortable yet nothing was done checked or adjusted. I am positive that the gas was not applied properly as only 2 weeks prior I received the same gas in office and had great results. The office manager and head doc just shrugged and said well you have to pay for it cause it was used during your appointment and some one has to pay for the gas.. exact words.I had the cash on hand and would have happily paid for it if it worked if it was administered properly. But this was not you wouldnt pay for anesthesia during open heart surgery if you were awake during the whole procedure and you shouldnt have to pay for sedation services if you were not sedated. I believe this issue was cause by lacking of proper staff training, I also believe of your gonna offer this service your staff should no how to use it and make sure it is working my anxiety level was threw the roof and it took along time to work up the nerves to go back. train staff to understand patients with anxiety and lower the price for sedation
I made an appointment over 4 months ago to have my wisdom teeth taken out and confirmed I made this appointment. I flew back home from Colorado for this procedure which they were fully aware of. I called a few times to try and confirm/ see if I needed more information and finally reached them the morning of said procedure. Despite having emailed them medical records and papers stating I needed this procedure done, they had never even saved my phone number and couldn’t call me to confirm. When I finally reached them they informed me that I wasn’t scheduled for my procedure and that instead I was scheduled for a consult. Their error to communicate this cost me hundreds of dollars on travel and days off work. On my way into my consult, something fell off the back of a truck and hit my car. I called the office and informed them that I was running late due to this incident and was told after everything that they could no longer take me because I was running late. I finally begged them again to take me as I had flown in for this appointment and that a car accident that was not my fault was fully out of control. When I arrived in the office (only 20 minutes late) they informed me for the first time they had rescheduled me for another hour later which had not been mentioned on the phone. This person at the front desk named Ashley tried to pick a fight with me and was extremely rude to me and my Father again after arriving. I was not being argumentative and asked her to please be kinder as we had literally almost just died in a car accident and still weren’t being rude to her. She continued to glare at me and be extremely rude. One woman at the front who took my information was kind and professional and should be recognized for being the only professional one throughout this entire ordeal. None of the staff were wearing masks and one of them even sneezed with her mask off and didn’t clean her hands. I was so unimpressed with this facility and the staff so much so that I didn’t even fill out the forms as I didn’t feel comfortable with them having my personal information let alone letting them perform a medical procedure. On the way out we spoke to the office manager who was typing on her computer as we tried to speak to her and struggled to look at us the whole time. I wouldn’t trust this practice and their unsanitary practices. This is the kind of practice you find on a stop and shop coupon mailer and I cannot believe how unprofessional and rude this staff was. I wouldn’t let my dog get his teeth cleaned here and he only has 3 left. This is the first review I have ever written in my life and I am extremely disappointed with their level of unprofessionalism and disrespect. I never even got to meet with the doctor and still was able to have such a terrible experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
