Alaris Health At Hamilton Park's Online Review Report Card

The staff was very unprofessional and not caring at all. Mice traps were placed in room, Ac was broken and had to bring a fan from home .My mom laid in her fieece all day. The reason replied was due to shortage of staff. Would yell at her when she would call for help. Did not change her wound bandages on her legs which caused her legs to become more swollen and infected. She became dehydrated and bed sores. We asked if we could hire a private nurse to come in, we were told no. Would not wash her because if she told them she was tired and didn’t feel good. They would write in her chart refuse and according to the law they can not make her.I can go on and on. Please if you love or care about your love one Do Not Bring Them Here to this facility. I don’t know why the State has not stepped in to do anything.

My 80 year old mother was there on the 5th floor for 4 weeks for physical therapy. The equipment there was old, you have to ask for a remote to use the TV, the AC doesn't really work and finally the call button for the nurse is useless since it literally takes at least 30 minutes for someone to slowly come to your aid.While I understand they are short staffed, but when it comes to aiding the elderly, you can't afford to just take your time to go help them, each second counts.

The staff seems to be responsive and decent which is the only reason I am not giving one star. The rooms have individual AC units but they seem to be broken. This is my mom’s second room which has a broken AC. The whole floor’s ac seems to be broken as well (I have attached the pic of floor’s temp control).The tv is the room is also non-functional (barely any sound) further making my mom’s stay uncomfortable and unbearable.I wanted my mom to be in a subacute rehab after her shoulder surgery to make sure she gets the best care that I may not be able to provide at home. However after less than 24 hours of her stay and finding her crying when I got here I think I may have to ask for a discharge and take care of her at home.

I am just give one star because the one of nurses she cancel my doctor appointment and write in her report the office was cancel she is a lie to me now I have a problem for this because my back surgery got infection she is the only one Never change the Dressing on the wound only one time when she cancel the appointment they Have to change the dressing every day really got me in bad SituationNot good to be there I am in fifth floor right now my name is Michel HannaNow Who is going to be responsible for this ????

Terrible so unprofessional. You call the front desk they have no clue what going on and you get an attitude. Then my mom's there for rehab only she had a heart surgery and vascular surgery and the nurses are never around, they haven't in two days given her a menu and she's on a low slat diet and there s salt on everything. This place is trash and the fact that staff gives an attitude is ridiculous. And why are their visiting restriction when everything wa shifted and we can only se ever for 2hrs a week..NO name of whose in charge!!.. and don't say call tue facility bc they have no clue who we can talk too..unprofessional for the jersey city facility

I would like to thank everyone at Alaris Health @ Hamilton Park for such a wonderful stay that I had .I was there for twenty days ;2 weeks on the quarantine floor of 5 ,for Corona 19,and then down to the 4th fl, for my quarantine being lifted.From the Doctors,that visited me ,to the Nurses,that did not miss beat in giving me my medication, to the Nurses Aids,that were always available 24/7.The Pt/Ot were just wonderful getting me back on my feet.F1 ! It was just a wonderful experience all the way around.I will need surgery again, and after my time in the Hospital is complete ,I will be going back to Hamilton Park; for sure. HappyThanksgiving to all of you .

This place is not suitable for an animal. Irresponsible cold hearted and unprofessional . Pass the buck type of attitude. Sent my mother home with covid and never alerted us to her extremely poor condition. Bedsore, in need of oygen, pneumonia, dehydrated and malnourished.Real good job guys.How do you sleep at night?Gave one star only because it would not post otherwise.

Negligent and Unprofessional!! My mother was admitted for rehabilitation at Alaris Health at Hamilton Park and within one week of admission she fell out of bed TWICE in ONE DAY. If that wasn't enough, she fell out of her wheelchair only FOUR DAYS after the first two falls! To add insult to injury, the Nursing Supervisor asks me, "was she trying to get up?" It is incomprehensible that my mother is under the care of this facility, falls and then the nurse questions me as I am the one that should be held accountable!! Please try to make other arrangements for your loved ones or make sure you're vigilant and advocate for quality care.
