Dr. Damanjit Ghuman is the epitome of a medical professional who displays the most compassion, sincerity and knowledge pertaining to her specialization. The five stars are for Dr. Ghuman not the Astera organization. Unfortunately, as I have witnessed the merger with Astera, the practice has become more difficult to work with. The bureaucratic nature of a conglomerate has taken away the intimacy and autonomous simplicity of accomplishing treatment. If Dr. Ghuman was to leave I would follow. It’s a shame to have had such a well operated practice absorbed and merged with a bureaucratic and monetary driven machine. This is where the medical field is going. It’s so sad.

Dr. Ghuman is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She’s compassionate, takes the time to really deal with her patients and understand where they’re at, physically & emotionally. She’s helped me a lot in this recovery process.

Dr. Ghuman is one in a million. She is knowledgeable, kind, patient, helpful, and reassuring. I feel lucky to have her as a doctor. She’s no-nonsense but funny, makes you feel confident. She told me from the start to let her do the worrying and she would tell me if there were any concerns. I have complete trust in her. I can’t imagine going through this process with someone else.

Dr Ghuman is the best Oncologist doctor. She takes her time with her patients. She is very compassionate, loves her work and does a great job. I wouldn't have any other Oncologist except Dr Ghuman. I will follow her where ever she goes. That's my doctor for life.

I absolutely love the care and attention I receive from Dr. Ghuman. She is very attentive and personable. She empowers her patients to voice their concerns and takes the time to thoroughly explain in a way that can be understood. The call staff under the new management leaves a lot to be desired, but everything concerning the treatment by Dr. Ghuman is superb. Highly recommended.

I have been Dr. Ghuman patient for 15 years. I follow her from her previous location . She’s a very compassionate, caring , passionate doctor. She’s more than a doctor , she makes you feel like family. I wouldn’t change her for nothing.She diagnosed my condition many years ago & continues to gives me her unconditional professional care like it was my first time meeting her. She deserves more than 5 stars.
