List of Drs Medical Associates's Reviews
I generally do not leave reviews (left 4 in my life). This one really deserve to be shared, please read to the end!I have Called multiple time in the hour before my appointment for Annual visit , to inform that I might have arrived later for extreme weather condition and consequent traffic jam. No reply to any of my for 7 call, I then left a voice mail.I have arrived about 30 min late, despite a huge storm and most of the streets being flooded .A very unprofessional Receptionist joked about a little gift to pay to accept my appointment even late. After I clearly said I was not in the mood for jokes, she mention their policy for "late Show". I mentioned that I have tried several time to communicate the delay in advance and nobody picked up the phone in the previous hours. She insisted on the policy and called the Doctor in charge, which just repeated “this is the policy” and literally said that the late fee is in place because their time is valuable. Now comes the good part. After reluctantly agreeing to pay $75, because my time is valuable, I have been accompanied to the evaluation room for the routine readings, then the doctor shows up (the very same doctor from before) and she candidly admitted that the annual visit couldn’t be performed because the person in charge of the blood sampling left before of my arrival.Looks like a joke but I have agreed to pay a late appointment fee for not having any appointment at all. This Review is NOT about Money , my time is definitely worth more than $75, It is about the way this episode was handled from the staff but specially from the doctor in charge. They knew since the beginning that my appointment was not going to be possible to be performed. And this is on top of the total lack of common sense and human touch.Late Fees are common and in place to protect the busy schedule of a doctor office but it is mainly against people that do not care about other people. In my case and in many other cases since I value other people time , I have tried to communicated properly without any engagements on their side .I hope owners of this office will train better their people to be human being first if not doctors which are supposed to follow the Hippocratic oath to help people in need.
This practice is caring, compassionate, understanding, available, I can continue forever! Highly highly recommend
Practice has totally gone downhill. They have no time and appointments. If you call they give appointments 6 months later. The reception has no idea whats going on. They were all off on a holiday and had no one even on emergency line. Its been one month and they have not been able to transfer patient records to another practice. Glad I’m switching.
Extremely rude and inexperienced staff.
I felt the need to share my experience as it was quite subpar. I went in for my annual physical - my last physical at DRS was July 2020. I saw a new doctor there as that was the earliest appointment I could get vs. the other two doctors only having availability 2-3 months from now.I went in for my physical and this was my full physical:1) The assistant asking me if anything changed since 20202) The assistant checking my oxygen and BP3) The doctor checking my lungs/breathing and heart rateThat's it. That was literally my entire physical. I had to ask myself to get lab work done and had to even specify what I wanted myself. I am a pharmacist so that was something I luckily knew. The lab tech wasn't able to draw my blood that day so I, myself, had to call and arrange when I could come back and get it. Fast forward and it's been 1+ weeks since my bloodwork was done. I called the office about when my results will be up on the portal and the receptionist didn't know. She commented "everything looks normal so you're fine"... What kind of practice is this? From start to finish it has been a terrible experience from the receptionist, to lab tech, to doctor.I clearly won't be going back here but it is worth noting how terrible primary care is here. I can't go anywhere else now for a proper physical because you get 1 per year for insurance.... What a waste of time. I recommend every patient to go in knowing what to expect, asking for exactly what they want or just not going here at all. Extremely disappointed.
Staffs are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Me and my husband love to our Doctor. Dr. Ryan Santos always help us.. Thank you
Unblievably rude receptionist staff, they're just unprofessional and ridiculously arrogant for no reason. The doctors are fine and nurses there are super friendly and professional too. All their reception staff made me sick there, especially on the day of my husband's appointment. Their attitutes like they are the only medical office in town and no any other doctors can take care of the patients. This is literally laughable to me, I don't understand where those privileges come from? Here is my first family doctor in Jersey City. Will be looking for other offices.
Without a doubt the rudest, nastiest, and most hateful front office staff in New Jersey, if not the entire nation.I implore you to go somewhere else.
We love Dr. Santos & Dr. Sharma! They take the time to explain everything to us clearly. They are so kind & caring.
Only if there was a way to write no stars. There are NEVER accommodating.Anytime you call, the response is nothing available. As if the person is calling to get a beauty treatment done.Better try to be consistent with the services you provided when you were still an upcoming practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
